3. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to prepare your window cleaning robot for its first use.
- Attach Cleaning Cloths: Securely attach two clean cleaning cloths to the designated areas on the underside of the robot. Ensure they are flat and cover the cleaning surfaces.
- Connect Power Adapter: Plug the power adapter into the robot's power port and then into a power outlet. The robot requires continuous power during operation.
- Secure Safety Rope: Attach the safety rope to the designated attachment point on the robot. Secure the other end of the safety rope to a sturdy, fixed object indoors, such as a heavy piece of furniture or a window frame anchor. This is crucial for preventing falls.
- Apply Cleaning Solution: Lightly spray a small amount of window cleaning solution onto the cleaning cloths. Do not oversaturate the cloths or spray directly onto the robot's body. Alternatively, use the provided water filling bottle to apply solution.
- Power On: Press and hold the power button on the robot's handle until the indicator light illuminates, indicating the robot is powered on.
4. Operating Instructions
Once set up, the robot is ready to clean. Ensure the glass surface is free of large debris that could scratch the surface or damage the robot.
- Place Robot on Window: Hold the robot by its handle and place it firmly onto the glass surface. Ensure the entire cleaning surface of the robot makes contact with the glass. The robot will automatically activate its suction to adhere to the window. Wait for the suction to stabilize before releasing the robot.
- Select Cleaning Mode: The robot offers three custom cleaning modes:
- Quick Clean: For light cleaning and maintenance.
- Thorough Clean: For more extensive cleaning of moderately dirty windows.
- Spot Clean: For targeted cleaning of specific dirty areas.
- Start Cleaning: Press the 'Start' button on the robot or remote control to begin the cleaning cycle. The robot will intelligently plan its path and move across the window.
- Monitor Operation: Observe the robot during its initial movements to ensure proper adhesion and movement.
- Automatic Return: Upon completion of the cleaning cycle, the robot will automatically return to its starting position.
- Remove Robot: Once the robot has returned and stopped, carefully grasp the handle, press the release button (if applicable) or gently pull it away from the glass to disengage suction.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button to turn off the robot.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot.
- Cleaning Cloths: Remove the cleaning cloths after each use. They are washable and reusable. Hand wash or machine wash them with mild detergent and air dry. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
- Robot Body: Wipe the exterior of the robot with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or spray liquids directly onto the robot.
- Sensors: Periodically clean the anti-fall sensors and edge detection sensors with a dry cotton swab to ensure they function correctly.
