4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before initial use, fully charge the camera's internal 5000mAh battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the cable to the camera's DC 5V port and a standard USB power adapter (not included). A full charge ensures optimal performance and allows the solar panels to maintain power effectively.

4.2 App Installation and Connection

  1. Download the TrisHome App from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
  2. Register for an account or log in if you already have one.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your new Smart Bird Feeder. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the pairing process. The feeder supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for optimal coverage.

4.3 Physical Installation

The feeder offers multiple installation options:

Choose a location that receives at least 4 hours of direct sunlight daily for effective solar charging. Ensure the feeder is positioned to capture clear views of visiting birds.

5. Operation

5.1 Filling the Feeder

Open the feeder cover and pour your desired bird seed into the main compartment. The feeder has a 1.25-liter capacity. Ensure the cover is securely closed after filling to protect the seeds from weather and pests.

5.2 Using the Camera and AI Features

The integrated 2.5K QHD camera provides a clear view of visiting birds. The AI identification system can recognize over 16,000 bird species. When motion is detected, the camera will auto-capture images and videos.

5.3 Real-time Alerts and Notifications

The TrisHome app will send real-time alerts to your smartphone when a bird is detected at the feeder. You can view live footage, review captured events, and adjust settings through the app.

5.4 Sharing Access

The TrisHome app allows you to share access to the feeder's camera feed and captured highlights with up to three other users. This feature enables multiple individuals to enjoy birdwatching simultaneously.

5.5 Squirrel Deterrent

5.6 Night Vision

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the feeder to prevent mold and bacterial growth. Disassemble the feeding tray and water basin, wash with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely before reassembling. Wipe the camera lens with a soft, damp cloth.

6.2 Battery Management

The solar panels are designed to provide continuous power. However, during prolonged periods of cloudy weather or low sunlight, the internal battery may require manual charging via the USB cable. Monitor the battery level through the TrisHome app.

6.3 Weather Protection

The feeder is IP65 waterproof, designed to withstand various weather conditions. Ensure all covers and seals are properly closed after maintenance to maintain its waterproof integrity. The design includes drainage holes to prevent water accumulation.
