1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your MZROT 95KPA Vacuum Sealer Machine, Model 618. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

2. Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

4. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the vacuum sealer from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the appliance on a flat, stable, and dry surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the AC power cable to the appliance and then to a standard 120V electrical outlet.
  4. Bag Roll Installation (if using custom bags):
    • Open the lid of the vacuum sealer.
    • Place the vacuum bag roll into the built-in storage compartment.
    • Pull out the desired length of bag material.
    • Use the built-in cutter to cut the bag to your preferred size.
    • Seal one end of the cut bag using the "Seal Only" function (refer to Operating Instructions).

  5. Pre-cut Bags: If using pre-cut bags, ensure they are compatible with vacuum sealing and are properly sized for your food items.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Vacuum Sealing Procedure

  1. Prepare the Bag: Place the food item into a vacuum sealer bag, ensuring at least 2-3 inches of empty space at the top for sealing.
  2. Position the Bag: Open the lid of the vacuum sealer. Place the open end of the bag into the vacuum chamber, ensuring it lies flat across the sealing strip and is held securely by the bag positioning clamp.
  3. Close the Lid: Firmly press down on both sides of the lid until you hear a click, indicating it is securely latched.
  4. Select Mode: Choose the appropriate mode based on your food type:
    • Dry Mode: For dry food items like nuts, grains, or crackers.
    • Moist Mode: For moist or juicy foods like raw meat, fish, or marinated items.
    • Damp Mode: For slightly damp items or delicate foods that require less vacuum pressure.
    • Pulse Mode: Allows manual control over the vacuum process for delicate items, preventing crushing. Press and hold to vacuum, release to stop.
    • Seal Only: For sealing bags without vacuuming, or to create custom-sized bags from a roll.
  5. Start Operation: Press the "Vacuum & Seal" button (or the specific mode button). The LCD countdown display will show the progress.
  6. Completion: Once the process is complete, the machine will automatically release the vacuum and unlock the lid. Remove the sealed bag.

5.2 External Vacuum Function (Canister/Container Sealing)

Your MZROT vacuum sealer can also be used to vacuum seal compatible canisters and containers.

  1. Prepare Container: Place food into a vacuum-sealable container and secure its lid.
  2. Connect Hose: Insert the smaller end of the air suction hose into the accessory port on the side of the vacuum sealer.
  3. Connect to Container: Attach the other end of the hose to the vacuum port on your container.
  4. Start Vacuuming: Select the "Canister" mode on the control panel, then press the "Enter" button to begin the external vacuum process.
  5. Disconnect: Once vacuuming is complete, disconnect the hose from both the machine and the container.

Notice: Always disconnect the tube after vacuuming to prevent damage to the appliance.

5.3 Sealing Snack Bags

The "Seal Only" function can be used to reseal opened snack bags or other non-vacuum bags.

  1. Position Bag: Place the open end of the snack bag across the sealing strip.
  2. Close Lid: Close the lid firmly.
  3. Select Seal Only: Press the "Seal Only" button. The machine will heat seal the bag without vacuuming.
  4. Remove Bag: Once the sealing process is complete, remove the bag.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your vacuum sealer.

  1. Unplug Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. Clean Vacuum Chamber and Detachable Sink:
    • The vacuum chamber features a detachable sink designed to collect excess liquids.
    • Carefully remove the detachable sink.
    • Wash the sink with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reinserting.
    • Wipe the inside of the vacuum chamber with a damp cloth to remove any food residue.

  4. Clean Sealing Strip: Gently wipe the sealing strip with a damp cloth. Ensure it is free of food particles or moisture, as this can affect sealing performance.
  5. Storage: Store the appliance in a dry, cool place with the lid unlatched to prevent compression of the sealing gaskets.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your vacuum sealer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Allow the machine to cool down for 15-20 minutes before resuming use.
"E1" error message.Vacuum seal failure.This indicates a problem with the vacuum seal. Check bag placement, ensure the lid is fully closed, and inspect the sealing strip and vacuum chamber for obstructions or damage. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
