1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the NOTABRICK Bluetooth Speaker Model Ki. This portable wireless speaker is designed to deliver clear stereo sound with robust features for various environments. Please read this manual carefully to understand the speaker's functions and ensure optimal performance and longevity.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the speaker to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the speaker. This will void the warranty.
  • Keep the speaker away from medical devices, as it contains magnets.
  • Use only the provided charging cable or a certified Type-C cable for charging.
  • The speaker is IPX6 rated for water resistance. Do not submerge it in water.

  • Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Press to play/pause.
  • Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume. Hold to go to previous track.
  • Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume. Hold to go to next track.
  • Mode Button (M): Press to switch between Bluetooth, TF Card, and AUX modes.
  • Bluetooth Indicator Light: Shows Bluetooth connection status.

Ports (Side View)

  • TF Card Slot: For playing audio from a Micro SD card.
  • AUX Input Port: For wired audio connection via 3.5mm cable.
  • Type-C Charging Port: For charging the speaker.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
  4. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours and provides up to 15 hours of playtime at medium volume.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Press and hold the Power button to turn on the speaker. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "NOTABRICK Ki" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid blue.
  5. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device is within range.

5.3 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve 360° stereo sound, you can pair two NOTABRICK Ki speakers together.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Mode button until you hear a prompt indicating TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. You will hear a confirmation tone once connected.
  4. Once TWS paired, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.2.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Functions

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
  • Play/Pause: Short press the Power button.
  • Volume Control: Short press the '+' button to increase volume, short press the '-' button to decrease volume.
  • Next Track: Long press the '+' button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the '-' button.

6.2 Hands-Free Calling

With the built-in microphone, you can answer calls directly through the speaker when connected via Bluetooth.

  • Answer Call: Short press the Power button.
  • End Call: Short press the Power button during a call.
  • Reject Call: Long press the Power button.

6.3 Additional Playback Modes

  • TF Card Mode: Insert a Micro SD card into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playing supported audio files (WAV, FLAC, APE, MP3).
  • AUX Input Mode: Connect an audio device to the speaker's 3.5mm AUX input port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

7. Maintenance and Care

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.

7.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to charge the speaker fully before storing and recharge it every few months to maintain battery health.

7.3 Water Resistance (IPX6)

The NOTABRICK Bluetooth Speaker Model Ki is rated IPX6, meaning it is resistant to strong jets of water from any direction. This makes it suitable for use in environments where it might encounter splashes, rain, dust, or sand. However, it is not designed to be partially or fully submerged in water. Ensure the charging port and other openings are dry before charging.

8. Troubleshooting
