6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the surfaces of the receiver and transmitter with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Battery Replacement: If the remote control's indicator light does not illuminate or its range decreases significantly, replace the CR2032 battery in the transmitter. Ensure correct polarity.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
Device does not respond to remote control.
  • Check if the receiver is properly plugged into a live wall socket.
  • Ensure the appliance plugged into the receiver is switched ON (if it has its own power switch).
  • Replace the battery in the remote control (CR2032).
  • Re-pair the remote control with the receiver (refer to Section 4.2).
  • Ensure the remote is within the operating range (up to 100m in open areas).
Remote control range is reduced.
  • Replace the battery in the remote control.
  • Minimize obstacles (thick walls, metal objects) between the remote and the receiver.
  • Avoid sources of strong electromagnetic interference.
Receiver indicator light is off.
  • Check if the wall socket has power.
  • Ensure the receiver is fully inserted into the wall socket.
  • If the light is off after pairing, it might indicate normal operation (some models turn off the light to save power). Try pressing the remote button to see if the appliance responds.

8. Safety Information

  • Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 3500W (16A). Overloading can cause overheating and fire hazards.
  • For indoor use, ensure the receiver is not exposed to moisture or extreme temperatures outside its operating range. The receiver has an IP44 rating, making it suitable for outdoor use where it may be exposed to splashes, but it is not submersible.
  • Do not disassemble or modify the device. This may void the warranty and pose safety risks.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the receiver when in use.
  • Disconnect the receiver from the power outlet before cleaning or when not in use for extended periods.
  • Dispose of batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
