4. Setup
4.1 Powering the Main Unit
- AC Power: Connect the included AC power adapter to the DC 5V/0.8A input port on the back of the main unit and plug it into a wall outlet. This is recommended for continuous operation and full display brightness.
- Battery Power (Backup): Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit and insert 3x AA batteries (not included), observing polarity. Batteries serve as backup power to retain settings during power outages. Note that the display will only light up for 10 seconds when powered by batteries alone.
4.2 Installing Batteries in the Outdoor Sensor
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor.
- Insert 2x AA batteries (not included), observing polarity.
- Select a channel (1, 2, or 3) using the channel switch inside the battery compartment. If using only one sensor, select Channel 1.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
4.3 Pairing Sensor with Main Unit
After powering both units, the main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. The outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the display. If pairing fails, press and hold the 'CHANNEL' button on the main unit for 3 seconds to initiate a manual search. Ensure the sensor is within range (up to 100 meters / 330 feet in open air).

Image 4.1: The weather station supports up to three outdoor sensors (CH1, CH2, CH3) for monitoring different locations. Ensure sensors are placed in protected areas, away from direct sunlight and rain.
4.4 Initial Settings (Time, Date, Units)
- Time and Date: The station will attempt to synchronize time via RCC automatically. If manual setting is needed, press and hold the 'TIME' button. Use the '▲' and '▼' buttons to adjust values and 'SET' to confirm.
- Temperature Units: Press the '▲/MEM' button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
- Barometric Pressure Units: Press the 'ALERTS' button to cycle through hPa, inHg, or mmHg.

Image 4.2: The RCC (Radio Controlled Clock) function automatically receives and adjusts the time for maximum precision. The display shows the time and date, with options for 12-hour or 24-hour format.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Display Overview

Image 5.1: A comprehensive overview of the weather station's display, labeling key information areas such as barometric pressure, moon phase, date, day of the week, outdoor readings (channel, temperature, humidity), time, weather forecast icon, indoor readings (temperature, humidity), and indoor comfort level.
The display is divided into several sections:
- Top Left: Barometric pressure, pressure trend, and RCC icon.
- Middle Left: Outdoor temperature, humidity, and alert indicators.
- Center: Time, weather forecast icon, and moon phase.
- Middle Right: Indoor temperature, humidity, and comfort level indicator.
- Top Right: Date and day of the week.
5.2 Adjusting Display Brightness
When powered by the AC adapter, touch the 'X' area on the top right of the display to cycle through 4 brightness levels (High, Medium, Low, Off). When powered by batteries, the display will illuminate for 10 seconds after touching 'X' and then turn off to conserve power.

Image 5.2: Illustration of the four adjustable brightness levels (High, Medium, Low, Off) when the main unit is powered by the AC adapter. When on battery power, the screen lights up for 10 seconds and then turns off.
5.3 Setting Alarms
The station supports two independent alarms. Press the 'ALARM' button to view Alarm 1 or Alarm 2. Press and hold 'ALARM' to enter alarm setting mode. Use '▲' and '▼' to adjust the time and 'SET' to confirm. Press 'ALARM' again to enable/disable the alarm. When an alarm sounds, press any button (except 'SNOOZE') to stop it, or press 'SNOOZE' for a temporary delay.

Image 5.3: The weather station features automatic RCC time synchronization and dual alarms to help manage daily schedules effectively.
5.4 Viewing Min/Max Records
Press the '▲/MEM' button repeatedly to cycle through current, maximum (MAX), and minimum (MIN) temperature and humidity records for both indoor and outdoor sensors. These records are automatically reset at midnight (0:00).

Image 5.4: The MAX/MIN function records the highest and lowest indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity values over a 24-hour period, resetting automatically at midnight.
5.5 Understanding Weather Forecast Icons
The weather station predicts weather conditions for the next 12-24 hours based on barometric pressure changes. The icons displayed are:
- Sunny
- Partly Cloudy
- Cloudy
- Light Rain
- Heavy Rain
- Light Snow
- Heavy Snow

Image 5.5: The weather station provides exclusive weather forecasts using intuitive icons (Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Cloudy, Light Rain, Heavy Rain, Light Snow, Heavy Snow) and also displays moon phases and barometric pressure visualization.
5.6 Indoor Comfort Indicator and Trends
The indoor comfort indicator provides a quick reference for indoor humidity levels:
- WET: Humidity > 70% (Humid)
- COM: Humidity 40% ~ 70% (Comfortable)
- DRY: Humidity < 40% (Dry)
Trend arrows indicate changes in temperature and humidity over the last hour:
- ↗ Temperature/Humidity increased by 1°C/5%RH.
- ↘ Temperature/Humidity decreased by 1°C/5%RH.
- ↔ Temperature/Humidity change was within 1°C/5%RH.

Image 5.6: The weather station accurately detects indoor temperature and humidity, providing a comfort indicator (WET, COM, DRY) and trend functions for temperature and humidity changes over the last hour.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the main unit and outdoor sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the display or casing.
6.2 Battery Replacement
Replace batteries in the outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the main unit. For the main unit, replace backup batteries periodically or if the unit is not connected to AC power for extended periods.
6.3 Sensor Placement Guidelines
For accurate outdoor readings, place the wireless sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct sunlight and rain. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electronic devices that could interfere with signal transmission.
7. Troubleshooting
- No outdoor reading:
- Check if outdoor sensor batteries are correctly installed or need replacement.
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is within range of the main unit.
- Press and hold the 'CHANNEL' button on the main unit to re-establish connection.
- Verify the outdoor sensor channel matches the one selected on the main unit.
- Inaccurate readings:
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is not in direct sunlight or exposed to rain.
- Avoid placing the main unit near heat sources or vents.
- Allow some time for the sensors to stabilize after initial setup.
- Display is dim or off (on battery power):
- This is normal behavior to conserve battery life. Touch the 'X' area to temporarily illuminate the display.
- For continuous bright display, use the AC power adapter.
- RCC time synchronization fails:
- Ensure the main unit is placed away from electronic interference.
- Try placing the unit near a window for better signal reception.
- Perform a manual RCC synchronization by pressing the '▼/RCC' button.
