2. Safety Guidelines
Operating an RC helicopter requires caution. Failure to operate safely can result in injury or property damage. Always follow these guidelines:
- Operate in open areas, away from people, animals, and obstacles.
- Maintain a safe distance from the helicopter during flight.
- Do not operate near power lines, roads, or water bodies.
- Ensure all batteries are fully charged before each flight.
- Inspect the helicopter for any damage before and after each flight.
- Keep hands and face clear of rotating blades.
- Do not operate in strong winds or adverse weather conditions.
- Adult supervision is recommended for users under 16 years of age.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Charging
The helicopter is powered by a 3S 11.1V 1600mAh 30C Smart LIPO battery. The remote control uses a 2800mAh battery. Use the dedicated charger provided to charge both batteries.
- Connect the dedicated charger to a power source.
- Connect the helicopter's smart battery to the charger.
- Connect the remote control's battery to its charging port (Type-C for the T8 transmitter).
- Allow approximately 90 minutes for a full charge of the helicopter battery. The charger's indicator will show charging status.
- Always supervise charging and disconnect batteries once fully charged.
4.2 Transmitter Preparation
The 2.4G A8 remote control is included. Ensure it is fully charged before use.
- Power on the remote control.
- Select the desired flight mode (Mode 1 or Mode 2) if applicable. Refer to the transmitter's specific manual for detailed mode switching instructions.
- Perform a range check before the first flight in a new environment.
4.3 Helicopter Pre-Flight Check
- Ensure the main and tail rotor blades are securely attached and free from damage.
- Check all linkages and servos for free movement and secure connections.
- Insert the fully charged smart battery into the helicopter's compartment. The quick-release canopy allows easy access.
- Power on the helicopter. Wait for GPS signal acquisition if flying outdoors.
5. Operating Instructions
The Goosky E2 UH-1Y features advanced flight stabilization and positioning systems for ease of use.
5.1 Basic Flight Controls
Familiarize yourself with the remote control's stick functions. The helicopter supports switchable Mode 1/2. Common controls include:
- Throttle: Controls rotor speed and altitude.
- Rudder (Yaw): Controls the helicopter's rotation around its vertical axis.
- Aileron (Roll): Tilts the helicopter left or right for sideways movement.
- Elevator (Pitch): Tilts the helicopter forward or backward for forward/backward movement.
5.2 GPS Smart Satellite Positioning
The built-in GPS module provides real-time positioning and navigation, enhancing flight safety and control accuracy. In GPS mode, the E2 GPS automatically stabilizes itself when control sticks are released. It can hover at a fixed point and altitude automatically, simplifying operation for beginners.

5.3 Vision + TOF Lidar System
The vision system provides horizontal displacement data, while the TOF (Time-of-Flight) Lidar sensor supplies vertical altitude data. Together, they form a three-dimensional spatial coordinate system in GPS-denied environments, enabling precise position and altitude hold, as well as intelligent return-to-home. This system assists in stable flight even for novice users.

5.4 Intelligent Return-to-Home
The flight controller combines altitude and distance data to automatically plan a return route. When switched to Return-to-Home mode in GPS mode, the E2 GPS will return to the takeoff point, land, and shut off the motors. If the battery voltage drops too low during flight, automatic return will also be triggered, ensuring a safe flight experience.

5.5 Flight Time
With a fully charged 11.1V 1600mAh LiPo battery, the helicopter can achieve up to 15 minutes of flight time. Always monitor battery levels during flight and land safely when low voltage warnings are issued.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Goosky E2 UH-1Y helicopter.
6.1 Post-Flight Inspection
- Inspect main and tail rotor blades for cracks, chips, or deformation. Replace damaged blades immediately.
- Check the landing gear for any damage or looseness.
- Examine the fuselage for cracks or structural damage.
- Ensure all screws and fasteners are tight.
6.2 Battery Care and Storage
- Store LiPo batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and flammable materials.
- Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries.
- If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to approximately 50% capacity.
- Never puncture or damage LiPo batteries.
6.3 Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the helicopter. Avoid using solvents or harsh chemicals that could damage plastic or electronic components.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Goosky E2 UH-1Y helicopter.
