5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Batteries

1. Connect the fast charger to a power outlet.
2. Insert a 2000mAh battery into the charger.
3. Allow the battery to charge fully. The indicator light on the charger will change to show a full charge.
4. Remove the battery from the charger once fully charged.

5.2 Installing the Battery

1. Ensure the pruning shears are turned off.
2. Align the charged battery with the battery slot at the bottom of the pruner handle.
3. Slide the battery into place until it clicks securely.

6.1 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the power button until the indicator light illuminates. The blades will open.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the indicator light turns off and the blades close.

6.2 Adjusting Cutting Modes

The pruner offers two cutting modes for different branch sizes:

• Mode 1 (0.8" / 20mm): For smaller branches, flowers, and soft stems. To activate, double-tap the trigger quickly after powering on.
• Mode 2 (1.4" / 35mm): For larger branches, shrubs, and fruit tree branches. This is typically the default mode upon power-on, or can be selected by double-tapping the trigger again if in Mode 1.

1. Position the branch to be cut fully within the open blades.
2. Press the trigger firmly to close the blades and make the cut.
3. Release the trigger to allow the blades to open for the next cut.
4. Avoid twisting the pruner while cutting to prevent blade damage.
5. Do not attempt to cut branches exceeding the maximum capacity of 1.4 inches (35mm).
