4. Setup
4.1. Physical Installation
The inverter dimensions are approximately 38 x 20 x 51 cm. Choose a suitable location for installation that is well-ventilated, protected from direct sunlight and moisture, and allows for easy access to connections and controls. Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the inverter.
4.2. Wiring Connections
Follow the wiring diagram carefully. Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent loose contacts and potential hazards. Use appropriate wire gauges for all connections.

Figure 3: Diagram illustrating the solar system connection, including generator, utility grid, PV array, battery, and household loads.
- AC Input/Output: Connect the AC input from the utility grid or generator and the AC output to your household loads.
- Battery Connection: Connect the 24V battery (lithium or lead-acid) to the designated battery terminals. Ensure correct polarity.
- PV Input: Connect your solar panel array to the PV input terminals. The maximum PV array open circuit voltage is 500Vdc, and the MPPT voltage range is 60Vdc~500Vdc.
Note: If no battery is connected, the photovoltaic voltage must be at least 130Vdc for the inverter to power the load directly from the PV array/AC power source.
4.3. Battery Type Configuration
The inverter supports various battery types, including lithium batteries. For lithium batteries, you can activate a specific activation function via setting [42] (disabled by default). You can also configure custom voltage parameters for user-defined battery types.

Figure 4: The inverter is compatible with multiple battery types, including AGM, GEL, FLD, LI, SLD, and USER-defined, with a maximum charging current of 100A (AC + DC).
For detailed instructions on setting lithium battery voltage parameters, refer to the video below:

5. Operating Modes
The Aninerel Hybrid Inverter offers several operating modes to optimize power usage based on your preferences and available sources:
- UTL Mode (Utility Priority - Default): The inverter prioritizes the utility grid for powering loads. Solar power is used to charge the battery, and if solar is unavailable, the grid charges the battery.
- SOL Mode (Solar Priority): The load is primarily powered by solar energy. If solar energy is insufficient, the utility grid supplies the remaining power.
- SBU Mode (Solar-Battery-Utility Priority): Solar energy primarily powers the load. If solar energy is unavailable, the battery supplies power. If the battery is low, the utility grid takes over.
- SUB Mode (Solar-Utility-Battery Priority): The battery is primarily charged by solar energy, then powers the load. If solar energy is unavailable, the load is powered by the utility grid.
- SUF Mode (Solar-Utility-Feed-in Priority): The inverter feeds excess solar energy back into the utility grid.

Figure 5: Visual representation of charging priority (Solar, Solar and AC input, Solar Only) and load priority (Solar, AC, DC) settings.
You can configure three battery charging modes via inverter setting [16]: hybrid charge (solar and AC, default), solar-limited charge, and pure solar charge.
The following videos demonstrate how to set different priority modes:
Video 3: This video demonstrates how to set the inverter to Utility Priority mode (UTL) using the control panel.
Video 4: This video demonstrates how to set the inverter to Solar Priority mode (SOL) and Solar-Battery-Utility (SBU) mode using the control panel.
The inverter's LCD display shows real-time system data and operating status. Three LEDs dynamically display system data, allowing for quick recognition of the inverter's operational state.

Figure 6: The inverter is equipped with a WiFi module for real-time monitoring of its operating status via a mobile app ("Smart Ess") available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Aninerel Hybrid Inverter.
- Cleaning: Keep the inverter's ventilation openings clear of dust and debris to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Connection Checks: Periodically inspect all wiring connections (AC, DC, battery, PV) for tightness and signs of corrosion. Loose connections can lead to poor performance or safety hazards.
- Battery Monitoring: If using a Battery Management System (BMS), ensure it is functioning correctly to monitor battery status and prevent overcharging or deep discharge, thereby extending battery life.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the inverter is operating within its specified environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) to prevent damage.
7. Troubleshooting
The inverter's LCD display will show corresponding error codes if a problem occurs during operation. Refer to the user manual (physical copy or digital version) for a detailed list of error codes and their respective solutions.
- No Power Output: Check AC input, battery connections, and PV input. Ensure the power switch is ON.
- Battery Not Charging: Verify PV array connections and voltage. Check battery settings (e.g., charging mode).
- Overload Error: Reduce the connected load. Ensure the total load does not exceed the inverter's rated output power.
- Overheating: Ensure adequate ventilation around the inverter. Clear any obstructions from the cooling fans.
- WiFi Connection Issues: Ensure the WiFi module is correctly installed and configured. Check network settings and router connectivity.
If you encounter persistent issues or error codes not covered in the manual, contact customer support for assistance.
