1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the EVO HV18S 2-in-1 High-Velocity Fan. This fan is designed to provide powerful airflow for various indoor environments, functioning as both a floor fan and a wall-mounted unit. Its durable construction and adjustable features ensure effective cooling wherever needed. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following safety precautions:

  • Always unplug the fan before cleaning or servicing.
  • Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified service agent.
  • Keep fingers and other objects away from the fan blades and openings during operation.
  • Do not use the fan near windows, in wet areas, or where it may be exposed to water.
  • Ensure the fan is placed on a stable, level surface when used as a floor fan.
  • When wall-mounting, ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound and capable of supporting the fan's weight.
  • This fan is for indoor use only.
  • Do not use the fan with any solid-state speed control device.
  • Supervise children when the fan is in use.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Floor Fan Setup

  1. Place the fan on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Ensure the power cord is not obstructed and is within reach of a grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Adjust the tilt head to direct airflow as desired (refer to Section 5.3).

4.2 Wall Mount Setup

  1. Identify a suitable wall location that is structurally sound and can support the fan's weight (approximately 11.82 lbs).
  2. Using the mounting bracket as a template, mark the drill points on the wall.
  3. Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
  4. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
  5. Attach the fan unit to the secured wall bracket, ensuring it is firmly in place.
  6. Adjust the tilt head to direct airflow as desired (refer to Section 5.3).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Plug the fan into a standard 120V AC grounded electrical outlet. The fan is equipped with a rotary switch located on the rear of the unit.

5.2 Speed Settings

Rotate the control knob to select the desired fan speed:

  • 0: Off
  • 1: Low Speed
  • 2: Medium Speed
  • 3: High Speed

5.3 Adjusting Tilt

The fan head can be tilted to direct airflow. Loosen the adjustment knobs on either side of the fan housing, position the fan head to the desired angle, and then tighten the knobs securely to lock it in place.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your fan.

  • Cleaning: Always unplug the fan before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or allow water to drip into the motor housing.
  • Blade Cleaning: Periodically, the fan blades may accumulate dust. To clean, carefully remove the front grille (if applicable and designed for user removal, otherwise consult a professional) and wipe the blades with a soft cloth. Reattach the grille securely before operating.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your fan, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
