2. Setup
2.1 Initial Winding
Your OLEVS automatic watch is powered by the motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped or has not been worn for an extended period, it may require initial manual winding. To do this, ensure the crown is in position 0 (fully pushed in). Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will provide enough power reserve to start the movement. The watch will then continue to self-wind with regular wear.
2.2 Setting the Time
- Pull the crown out to position 2.
- Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into position 0.
2.3 Setting Date, Month, and Moon Phase
The watch features a date display, month window, and moon phase dial. Refer to the diagram below for the location of adjustment points.

Figure 2: Watch adjustment points and crown positions.
- Date Adjustment: Use the Date Adjustment Button (typically located on the side of the case) to advance the date. Press the button repeatedly until the correct date is displayed.
- Monthly Adjustment: Use the Monthly Adjustment Button to advance the month. Press the button repeatedly until the correct month is displayed in the year/month window.
- Moon Phase Adjustment: Pull the crown out to position 1 and rotate it to adjust the moon phase dial to the correct phase.
Important: Avoid adjusting the date or month between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement. Adjust these functions outside of this time frame.
2.4 Band Adjustment
The watch comes with a stainless steel bracelet that can be adjusted to fit your wrist. A pin pusher tool is typically included for this purpose. If you are unsure how to adjust the band, it is recommended to seek assistance from a professional watchmaker to avoid damage.

3. Operating Your Watch
3.1 Automatic Movement
Your OLEVS watch is equipped with an automatic mechanical movement. This means it is powered by the natural motion of your arm and does not require a battery. When worn regularly, the rotor inside the watch winds the mainspring, maintaining the power reserve. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it will stop and require manual winding as described in Section 2.1.

3.2 Water Resistance
This watch has a water resistance rating of 3ATM (30 meters). This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for showering with hot water, swimming, diving, or any water sports where it might be subjected to high water pressure or prolonged submersion.

3.3 Luminous Function
The watch hands and markers are treated with a luminous material, allowing for readability in low-light conditions. Exposure to light (natural or artificial) will charge the luminous elements, causing them to glow in the dark.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
4.2 Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If the watch will not be worn for several days, consider placing it on a watch winder to keep the automatic movement powered and accurate.
4.3 Water Exposure Precautions
Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water. Avoid exposing the watch to hot water, steam, or sudden temperature changes, as this can compromise the water resistance seals.
5. Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running: If the watch has stopped, manually wind it by rotating the crown clockwise 30-40 times (crown in position 0). If it still does not start, ensure it is worn regularly to allow the automatic movement to function.
- Inaccurate Time: Ensure the watch is fully wound. Automatic watches can lose accuracy if not worn consistently or if the power reserve is low. Avoid exposing the watch to strong magnetic fields, which can affect timekeeping.
- Condensation Under Glass: If condensation appears under the watch glass, it indicates a potential breach in water resistance. Stop using the watch immediately and seek professional service to prevent further damage to the movement.
- Difficulty Adjusting Functions: Refer to Section 2.3 for proper adjustment procedures. Ensure the crown is pulled to the correct position and avoid adjusting date/month between 9 PM and 3 AM.
