Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your chainsaw. Always wear protective gloves during assembly.
- Unpacking: Carefully open the box and remove all components.
- Remove the Cover: Unscrew and remove the side cover to access the sprocket area.
- Install the Chain Plate: Place the guide bar onto the studs, ensuring it aligns with the sprocket.
- Install the Chain: Carefully wrap the chain around the sprocket and guide bar. Ensure the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction as indicated by the arrow on the guide bar.
- Reinstall the Cover: Place the side cover back over the guide bar and chain, then hand-tighten the screws.
- Adjust Chain Tension: Use the tensioning screw to adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to be pulled freely by hand. Once tension is correct, fully tighten the cover screws.
- Add Engine Oil: Place the chainsaw on a flat surface. Remove the engine oil cap and pour 100ml of the provided 4-cycle engine oil into the engine oil tank. Replace the cap securely.
- Add Fuel: Carefully pour fresh, unleaded gasoline into the fuel tank, avoiding spillage. Immediately replace the fuel cap and hand tighten. Wipe up any fuel spillage.
- Add Bar & Chain Oil: Fill the chain oil tank with bar and chain oil. This lubricates the chain during operation.
