3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Real-Time Monitoring
Once connected, the sensor continuously monitors the air quality. You can view real-time data for the following parameters directly from the Tuya Smart App:
- CO2: Carbon Dioxide levels
- VOC: Volatile Organic Compounds
- HCHO: Formaldehyde levels
- Temperature: Ambient temperature
- Humidity: Relative humidity

3.2 Alerts and Notifications
Configure custom alerts within the Tuya Smart App to receive notifications on your mobile device when specific air quality parameters exceed or fall below predefined thresholds. This feature helps you stay informed about changes in your environment.
3.3 Smart Automation and Scene Linkage
The sensor can be integrated into smart home scenes via the Tuya Smart App. This allows for automatic control of other smart devices based on air quality readings. For example:
- If humidity is too low, automatically activate a smart humidifier.
- If temperature is too high, automatically turn on a smart air conditioner.
- If VOC or HCHO levels are high, automatically activate a smart air purifier.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To ensure accurate readings and prolong the life of your sensor, periodically clean its exterior. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away dust. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device.
4.2 Software Updates
The Tuya Smart App may occasionally prompt you to update the sensor's firmware. It is recommended to perform these updates to ensure optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Device Not Powering On
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the sensor and the power source.
- Verify that the USB power adapter or port is functional. Try a different power source if necessary.
5.2 Unable to Connect to WiFi
- Confirm your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. The sensor does not support 5GHz networks.
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same 2.4GHz WiFi network during the pairing process.
- Check your WiFi password for accuracy.
- Move the sensor closer to your WiFi router to improve signal strength.
- Restart your WiFi router and the sensor, then attempt pairing again.
5.3 Inaccurate Readings
- Ensure the sensor is not placed near direct heat sources, open windows, or strong air currents.
- Clean the sensor's exterior as described in the Maintenance section.
- Allow the sensor to operate for at least 24 hours after initial setup for optimal calibration.
