2. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO Desktop.

2.1 Unpacking and Placement

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Place the AIO desktop on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation. Ensure there is enough space around the device for airflow.
3. Avoid placing the device in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

2.2 Connecting Peripherals

Refer to the port diagram below for connecting your devices.

• Keyboard and Mouse: Connect the wired USB keyboard and mouse to any available USB-A ports on the back of the AIO desktop.
• External Display (Optional): If connecting an additional monitor, use the provided AUX HDMI 2.0 Cable to connect to the HDMI Out (2.1 TMDS) port.
• Network: For a wired internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port.
• Power: Connect the power adapter to the Power DC-In port and then plug it into a wall outlet.

2.3 Initial Power On

1. Press the Power Button (labeled 11 in Figure 2.1) located on the side of the display.
2. The system will boot up. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial Windows setup, including language selection, network connection, and user account creation.

3.2 Performance and Storage

The integrated speakers provide clear audio for multimedia and communication. For private listening, use the 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack.

4. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO Desktop.

4.1 Cleaning

• Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for electronics. Dampen the cloth slightly with water or a screen cleaner solution (do not spray directly onto the screen).

5.4 No Internet Connection

• Wired: Check if the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the AIO desktop and your router/modem. Verify router/modem status.
• Wireless: Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled in Windows settings. Check if you are connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and enter the password correctly. Restart your router/modem.
