3. Product Overview

The NOKLEAD Digital Alarm Clock features a clear LED display and intuitive controls. Familiarize yourself with the buttons and ports:

  • Snooze/Adjust Brightness Button: Located on top. Press to snooze alarm or adjust display brightness.
  • Time Setting Button: Located on the back. Used to enter time setting mode and switch between 12/24 hour format.
  • Up Button (+): Located on the back. Used to increase values during setting.
  • Down Button (-): Located on the back. Used to decrease values during setting.
  • Alarm Setting Button: Located on the back. Used to enter alarm setting mode and turn the alarm ON/OFF.
  • Reset Button: Small button on the back for factory reset.
  • Type-C Input Port: For power connection.

4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

The alarm clock is powered by USB only. It requires continuous power to operate.

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the Type-C Input Port on the back of the alarm clock.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into the provided power adapter.
  3. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.

Note:

  • This clock does not operate on batteries. In case of a power outage, the screen will go dark, and the alarm will not sound.
  • Time and alarm settings are automatically saved during a power loss and will be restored once power is reconnected.

4.2 Initial Time Setting

  1. Press and hold the Time Setting button on the back of the clock. The hour digits will begin to flash.
  2. Use the Up (+) or Down (-) buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press the Time Setting button again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
  4. Use the Up (+) or Down (-) buttons to adjust the minutes.
  5. Press the Time Setting button one more time to confirm the minutes and exit time setting mode.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Time Format (12/24 Hour)

To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour (military time) display modes:

  • While in normal time display mode, briefly press the Time Setting button. The display will switch between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.

5.2 Brightness Adjustment

The display brightness can be adjusted to 5 levels or turned completely off.

  • In normal time display mode, briefly press the large Snooze/Adjust Brightness button on the top of the clock to cycle through the 5 brightness levels (100%, 70%, 50%, 30%, 10%) and the OFF option.

5.3 Alarm Setting

To set the alarm time:

  1. Press and hold the Alarm Setting button on the back of the clock. The alarm hour digits will begin to flash.
  2. Use the Up (+) or Down (-) buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
  3. Press the Alarm Setting button again to confirm the alarm hour and move to alarm minute setting. The alarm minute digits will flash.
  4. Use the Up (+) or Down (-) buttons to adjust the alarm minutes.
  5. Press the Alarm Setting button one more time to confirm the alarm minutes and exit alarm setting mode. The alarm icon will appear on the display, indicating the alarm is active.

5.4 Alarm ON/OFF

To activate or deactivate the alarm:

  • In normal time display mode, briefly press the Alarm Setting button. The alarm icon will appear (alarm ON) or disappear (alarm OFF) from the display.

5.5 Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds:

  • Press the large Snooze/Adjust Brightness button on the top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for 9 minutes and then sound again.
  • To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button on the back of the clock. The alarm will stop and reset for the next day.

5.6 Alarm Volume

The alarm features two volume levels: Soft (70dB) and High (85dB).

  • To adjust the alarm volume, during alarm setting mode (after setting minutes), press the Up (+) or Down (-) buttons to toggle between L01 (Soft) and L02 (High).

6. Maintenance

  • Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid exposing the clock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • Ensure the clock is placed on a stable surface. The bottom features an anti-slip silicone pad for stability.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Display is blank. Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the clock and the power adapter, and the adapter is plugged into a working wall outlet. This clock requires continuous power.
Alarm does not sound.
  • Check if the alarm is activated (alarm icon visible on display).
  • Verify the alarm time is set correctly.
  • Ensure the clock has power.
Cannot adjust time/alarm. Ensure you are pressing and holding the correct setting button (Time Setting or Alarm Setting) until the digits flash.
Display is too bright/dim. Briefly press the large Snooze/Adjust Brightness button on top to cycle through brightness levels.
Clock is unresponsive. Unplug the power adapter for a few seconds, then plug it back in. If the issue persists, use a thin object to press the Reset button on the back.
