3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the camera battery. Insert one of the provided rechargeable batteries into the camera. Connect the camera to a power source using the USB cable and Type-C adapter. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

3.2. Inserting the Memory Card

The camera supports microSD cards. Insert the 32GB microSD card into the designated slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly to avoid damage.

4. Operating the Camera

4.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button to turn the camera on or off.

4.2. Taking Photos

To take a photo, aim the camera at your subject. Press the shutter button halfway down to activate autofocus. Once the subject is in focus (indicated by a green frame), press the shutter button fully to capture the image.

4.3. Recording Videos

Switch to video mode using the mode dial or button. Press the shutter button to start recording, and press it again to stop. The camera supports 4K UHD video recording.

4.4. Using the Dual Cameras

The HICSHON DC306 features both front and rear cameras. You can switch between them with a dedicated button for easy selfies or traditional photography.

4.5. Digital Zoom

Utilize the 16X digital zoom to magnify distant subjects. Use the 'T' button to zoom in and the 'W' button to zoom out.

5. Connectivity

5.1. Connecting to a Computer (Webcam & File Transfer)

Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable. The camera can function as a webcam or allow you to transfer photos and videos to your computer.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning the Camera
