1. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or other hazards.

  • Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the speaker.
  • Keep the speaker away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and open flames.
  • Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when using the speaker in wet environments to maintain IP7 waterproofing.
  • Do not immerse the speaker in water deeper than 1 meter for more than 30 minutes.
  • Use only the provided charging cable or a certified equivalent.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Control Buttons and Ports:

  • Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to play/pause.
  • Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth and other modes (if available).
  • Previous Track Button (⏮): Short press for previous track.
  • Next Track Button (⏭): Short press for next track.
  • Volume Up Button (+): Short press to increase volume.
  • Volume Down Button (-): Short press to decrease volume.
  • LED Display: Shows time, battery level, and Bluetooth connection status.
  • USB-C Charging Port: Located on the side, covered by a waterproof flap.
  • Suction Cup: Located on the bottom for mounting on smooth surfaces.
  • Carabiner: For easy portability and attachment.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Open the waterproof flap covering the USB-C charging port.
  2. Connect the USB-C cable to the speaker and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the waterproof flap.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED display illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED display turns off.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (the Bluetooth icon on the LED display will flash).
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Donerton T7C" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the Bluetooth icon on the speaker's LED display will stop flashing and remain solid. You will hear a confirmation sound.

4.4 Dual Pairing (True Wireless Stereo - TWS)

To achieve stereo sound, you can pair two Donerton T7C speakers together.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Power button (⏻). The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. You will hear a confirmation sound once connected.
  4. Once TWS is established, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.3.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Short press the Power button (⏻).
  • Next Track: Short press the Next Track button (⏭).
  • Previous Track: Short press the Previous Track button (⏮).
  • Volume Up: Short press the Volume Up button (+).
  • Volume Down: Short press the Volume Down button (-).

5.2 Answering Calls

When connected to your phone via Bluetooth, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.

  • Answer/End Call: Short press the Power button (⏻).
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2 seconds.

5.3 LED Light Modes

The speaker features an LED light ring with various modes.

  • Change Light Mode: Short press the Mode button (M) to cycle through different light patterns and colors.
  • Turn Off Lights: Continue pressing the Mode button (M) until the lights turn off.

5.4 Using the Suction Cup

The integrated suction cup allows you to attach the speaker to smooth, flat surfaces.

  1. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion.
  2. Press the speaker firmly against the desired surface until the suction cup creates a seal.
  3. To remove, gently pull the edge of the suction cup to break the seal.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Waterproofing: Always ensure the USB-C charging port cover is tightly sealed when the speaker is exposed to water.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting
