Setup and Charging

Before first use, fully charge your LOKITHOR jump starter.

Initial Charging:

1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the jump starter.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a suitable USB wall adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
3. The display will indicate charging status. Charge until the battery indicator shows full.
4. A full charge can provide up to 36 months of standby time.

Battery Tester App Setup (for JT400):

1. Download the "BattGuard" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Power on the JT400.
4. Open the BattGuard app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your JT400 via Bluetooth.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle:

Both the JT400 and JA3000 PRO can jump start vehicles with dead batteries. Ensure the jump starter is adequately charged before use.

1. Prepare the Vehicle: Turn off all vehicle accessories (headlights, radio, air conditioning) and ensure the vehicle is in Park (automatic) or Neutral (manual) with the parking brake engaged.
2. Connect Clamps:
   • Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
   • Connect the black negative (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery or a solid, unpainted metal part of the engine block/chassis away from the battery.

   The jump starter will perform a self-check and indicate readiness. If an error is detected (e.g., reverse polarity), the device will alert you.
3. Start Vehicle: Once the jump starter indicates it's ready, attempt to start the vehicle. If the vehicle does not start immediately, wait 30-60 seconds before trying again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
4. Disconnect Clamps: Once the vehicle starts, disconnect the black negative (-) clamp first, then the red positive (+) clamp.

Using the Air Compressor (JA3000 PRO only):

The JA3000 PRO features a built-in 150 PSI air compressor for inflating tires and other inflatables.

1. Attach Hose: Screw the air hose onto the air outlet port of the JA3000 PRO.
2. Connect to Item: Attach the appropriate nozzle adapter to the air hose and connect it to the tire valve or inflatable item.
3. Set Pressure: Use the controls on the JA3000 PRO to set the desired pressure (PSI, BAR, or KPA).
4. Start Inflation: Press the "Pump" button to begin inflation. The compressor will automatically stop when the preset pressure is reached.
5. Disconnect: Disconnect the hose from the item and then from the JA3000 PRO.

Using the Battery Tester (JT400 only):

The JT400's integrated battery tester provides detailed diagnostics of your vehicle's 12V battery.

1. Connect to Battery: Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black negative (-) clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Open App: Ensure the JT400 is powered on and open the "BattGuard" app on your paired smartphone.
3. Perform Test: Select the desired test (e.g., Battery Test, Cranking Test, Charging Test) within the app. The app will display real-time data and diagnostic reports including State of Health (SOH), State of Charge (SOC), voltage, current, and internal resistance.

Both units can charge mobile devices via their USB ports.
