1. Important Safety Information
Please read and understand all instructions before beginning installation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or personal injury.
- Electrical Safety: Always disconnect power at the main circuit breaker before installing, cleaning, or servicing the fan. Ensure all electrical connections comply with local codes and ordinances. If you are unsure about wiring, consult a qualified electrician.
- Mounting: The ceiling fan must be mounted to a structurally sound ceiling joist or a fan-rated outlet box capable of supporting at least 70 pounds (31.75 kg). Use only the mounting hardware provided.
- Blade Clearance: Ensure there is at least 7 feet (2.13 meters) of clearance from the floor to the bottom of the fan blades. Maintain at least 30 inches (76 cm) from the blade tips to any walls or obstructions.
- Motor Type: This fan uses a DC motor, which is sensitive to proper grounding. Ensure the fan is correctly grounded during installation.
- Remote Control: The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries (included). Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

3. Setup and Installation
This section provides a general overview of the installation process. Refer to the detailed installation guide included in your package for specific step-by-step instructions and diagrams.
3.1 Pre-Installation Steps
- Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker for the fan location and turn off the power. Use a voltage tester to confirm the power is off at the outlet box.
- Prepare Mounting Location: Ensure the existing electrical box is fan-rated and securely attached to a building structure. If not, replace it with a suitable fan-rated junction box (minimum 70 lbs support).
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out.
3.2 Mounting the Fan
- Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the fan-rated outlet box using the provided screws and washers.
- Assemble Downrod: Select the appropriate downrod length (5", 10", or 15") for your ceiling height. Feed the fan wires through the downrod and secure the downrod to the motor assembly.
- Hang Fan Assembly: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it from the mounting bracket.
3.3 Electrical Connections
Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the provided wiring diagram. Ensure proper grounding for the DC motor.
- Connect the ground wire (green or bare copper) from the fan to the household ground wire.
- Connect the neutral wire (white) from the fan to the household neutral wire.
- Connect the hot wire (black) from the fan to the household hot wire.
- Secure all connections with wire nuts.
3.4 Final Assembly
- Attach Canopy: Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket.
- Install Blades: Attach the five fan blades to the motor housing using the provided screws.
- Install Light Kit: Connect the light kit wiring and secure the light kit to the fan motor assembly.

4. Operating Instructions
Your Fanbulous ceiling fan is controlled by the included multi-function remote control.
4.1 Remote Control Functions
Insert the two AAA batteries into the remote control. Point the remote at the fan receiver to operate.

Image: The remote control for the Fanbulous ceiling fan, showing buttons for power, light on/off, fan speed (1-6), fan on/off, timer (1H, 4H, 8H), forward/reverse rotation, safe mode, natural wind, mute, and cancel timer. This image details the full functionality of the remote.
- Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the fan and light on or off.
- Fan Speed (1-6): Use the '1-6' buttons to adjust the fan speed from gentle (1) to powerful (6).
- Light On/Off: Press the light button to toggle the LED light.
- Color Temperature: Cycle through Warm (3000K), Neutral (4000K), and Cool White (6000K) light settings. The fan features a light memory function, retaining the last setting.
- Reversible Direction: Press the forward/reverse button to change the blade rotation direction.
- Timer: Set the fan to turn off automatically after 1, 4, or 8 hours.
- Safe Mode: Activates an anti-theft mode, running the fan and light for 10 minutes every 4 hours to simulate occupancy.
- Natural Wind: Simulates a natural breeze by varying fan speeds.
- Remote Controller Mute: Mutes the remote's button press sounds.
4.2 Reversible DC Motor
The reversible DC motor allows for year-round use, optimizing air circulation for different seasons.

Image: Illustration of the reversible DC motor function. In summer, the fan operates in forward mode to deliver cool air downwards. In winter, it operates in reverse mode to circulate warm air upwards, improving thermal warmth.
- Summer Mode (Forward): Blades rotate counter-clockwise, pushing cool air down to create a wind-chill effect.
- Winter Mode (Reverse): Blades rotate clockwise, drawing air up towards the ceiling to redistribute warm air evenly throughout the room.
4.3 LED Light Color Temperature
Adjust the light color to suit your preference or room ambiance.

Image: The fan's integrated LED module offering three distinct color temperatures: 3000K (Warm), 4000K (Neutral), and 6000K (Cool White). This allows users to set the desired mood or lighting for various scenarios.
- 3000K (Warm White): Ideal for creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
- 4000K (Neutral White): Suitable for general illumination and daily activities.
- 6000K (Cool White): Provides bright, crisp light for tasks requiring focus.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ceiling fan.
- Cleaning: To clean the fan, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish or electrical components. Ensure power is off before cleaning.
- Blade Inspection: Periodically check the blade screws for tightness. Loose screws can cause wobbling and noise.
- Remote Batteries: Replace the two AAA batteries in the remote control when the range decreases or the remote stops responding.
- Motor Lubrication: The DC motor is permanently lubricated and does not require additional oiling.
6. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your Fanbulous ceiling fan, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fan does not start | No power to the fan Loose wire connections Remote control batteries are dead | Check circuit breaker and wall switch Verify all wire connections are secure (ensure power is off first) Replace remote control batteries |
| Fan wobbles | Loose blade screws Improperly balanced blades Loose mounting bracket | Tighten all blade screws Use a blade balancing kit (not included) if necessary Ensure mounting bracket is securely fastened to the ceiling joist/outlet box |
| Light does not work | Loose wire connection in light kit LED module failure | Check light kit wiring connections (ensure power is off first) Contact customer support for replacement LED module |
| Remote control not responding | Dead batteries Obstruction between remote and receiver Remote not paired (if applicable) | Replace batteries Ensure clear line of sight Refer to the detailed manual for remote pairing instructions |
| Fan is noisy | Loose screws Wobbling blades Motor noise (unlikely for DC motor) | Check and tighten all screws (blades, mounting) Address blade wobbling as above If noise persists and is not due to loose parts, contact customer support |
