3. Setup Instructions

2. Battery Installation:

   The device features a dual power system with solar and an internal battery. If the display is not active upon unpacking, or if the battery indicator shows low power, you may need to install or replace the battery.

   • Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
   • Open the cover and insert one AAA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

4.1 Display Information

• Current Humidity: Shown in large digits below the temperature.
• Max/Min Temperature: The highest (HI) and lowest (LO) temperatures recorded since the last reset.
• Max/Min Humidity: The highest (HI) and lowest (LO) humidity levels recorded since the last reset.
• Comfort Level Indicator: A facial icon (e.g., smiling, neutral, frowning) indicates the current comfort level based on temperature and humidity.
• Battery Indicator: Shows the current battery level.

4.2 Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), locate the °C/°F button on the back or side of the device. Press this button once to toggle between the two units.

4.3 Resetting Max/Min Values

The device automatically records the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values. To clear these recorded values and start a new recording cycle:

• Locate the "CLEAR" or "RESET" button (if available, typically on the back).
• Press and hold this button for approximately 3 seconds until the Max/Min values reset to the current readings.
