- Be aware of potential pinch points during assembly and operation of doors.
- Keep the cabinet away from direct heat sources and excessive moisture to prevent damage to materials.
- Do not place excessively heavy objects on the top shelf or any individual shelf to avoid tipping or structural strain.
- Secure the cabinet to a wall using the provided anti-tipping device to prevent accidental falls, especially in households with children or pets.
3. Setup and Assembly
The BROTTAR Display Cabinet is designed for straightforward assembly. Detailed instructions and all necessary tools are included in the package. It is recommended to follow each step in the provided manual and arrange parts by their corresponding numbers for efficient assembly. The cabinet is constructed from FSC-Certified engineered wood.
3.1 Package Contents
Your cabinet will arrive in two separate boxes. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before beginning assembly. Refer to the parts list in your included manual.
3.2 Assembly Steps
- Unpack and Inspect: Carefully unpack all components. Inspect all glass and acrylic panels for any flaws or damage before assembly.
- Prepare Components: Lay out all wooden panels, glass doors, acrylic side panels, and hardware. Note that the curved side panels are acrylic, while the front doors are tempered glass. The acrylic panels may have a protective plastic film that needs to be removed.
- Assemble Frame: Follow the numerical sequence in the instruction manual to assemble the main frame of the cabinet. Pay close attention to the orientation of each piece.
- Install Shelves: Integrate the four shelves into the frame as indicated. Note that shelf height is fixed and not adjustable.
- Attach Side Panels: Carefully insert the curved acrylic side panels. Some users have noted that these may require careful stretching or gentle manipulation to fit perfectly within their designated sections.
- Install Doors: Attach the tempered glass doors using the provided stable hinges and push-to-open rebounder equipment. Ensure the black plastic rings are installed correctly with the hinges. It is advisable to add extra rubber-elastic material (if available) to the corners and hinges of the glass doors for a more secure fit, as some users have reported minimal coverage from the factory-provided material.
- Connect LED Lighting: Follow the instructions to connect the built-in LED light strips to each shelf.
- Install Motion Sensor: Connect the intelligent motion sensor system as directed.
- Secure Cabinet: Utilize the anti-tipping device to anchor the cabinet to a wall for enhanced stability and safety.

6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| LED lights not turning on. | Power connection issue; motion sensor deactivated; faulty LED strip. | Check power cable connection. Ensure motion sensor is activated or try manual light activation. If still not working, contact support. |
| Motion sensor lights turn off too quickly (30 seconds). | Default sensor setting. | The motion sensor has a fixed auto-off duration (2-3 minutes, or as reported by some users, 30 seconds). If continuous light is desired, deactivate the motion sensor and manually select a light mode. |
| Screws stripping during assembly. | Over-tightening; use of incorrect screwdriver; soft screw material. | Use gentle force when tightening. Ensure the correct screwdriver head is used. If a screw strips, use pliers to remove and replace with an extra provided screw, if available. |
| Acrylic side panels do not fit perfectly. | Slight manufacturing variance; protective film not fully removed. | Ensure all protective films are removed. Gently and carefully stretch or manipulate the panel to fit into the groove. Avoid excessive force to prevent damage. |
| Glass doors have scratches or bubbles. | Manufacturing defect or shipping damage. | Inspect all glass components immediately upon receipt and before assembly. Contact customer support for replacement if defects are found. |
