2. Package Contents
Please verify that all items are present and in good condition upon unpacking.
- 1 x SEQURE S99 Soldering Iron Controller
- 1 x BC2 Soldering Tip
Note: A power cable and power adapter are not included and must be supplied by the user. The device is NOT CORDLESS and requires an external power source for operation.
3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Attaching the Soldering Tip
- Ensure the soldering iron is powered off and cool.
- Carefully insert the BC2 soldering tip into the CNC stainless steel mounting port until it is firmly seated. Ensure there is no looseness to prevent connection issues during operation.

3.2 Connecting Power
- Connect a compatible USB-C power cable to the Type-C interface on the soldering iron.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a power adapter that supports PD/QC/DC/PPS protocols.
- The soldering iron requires a working voltage of DC9V-21V (for 2.5Ω tips) or DC11-21V (for 5.5Ω tips) to achieve its maximum power output. A powerful USB-C power source (e.g., 65W or 100W PD charger) is recommended for optimal performance, especially for fast heating.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Soldering Tip Care
- Always tin the tip with solder before and after use to prevent oxidation.
- Clean the tip regularly using a damp sponge or brass wool.
- Replace worn or damaged tips to maintain optimal soldering performance. Ensure replacement tips are securely seated.
6.2 General Cleaning
- Ensure the device is powered off and cool before cleaning.
- Wipe the body of the soldering iron with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.3 Firmware Upgrade
The SEQURE S99 supports firmware upgrades to enhance functionality and performance. Refer to the official SEQURE website or support resources for instructions on how to perform a firmware update.

7. Troubleshooting
- Iron does not power on:
Ensure the USB-C power cable is securely connected to both the iron and a compatible power adapter. Verify the power adapter is functioning and provides sufficient voltage (DC9V-21V). - Iron heats slowly or not to target temperature:
Check if the power adapter provides adequate wattage. For maximum performance (150W), a high-power PD/QC/DC/PPS adapter (e.g., 100W) is required. Ensure the soldering tip is clean and properly seated. - Soldering tip feels loose or disconnects:
Ensure the soldering tip is fully inserted and securely tightened into the CNC stainless steel mounting port. A loose tip can cause inconsistent heating or connection issues. - Alarms (high/low voltage, high temperature, tip sensor):
Address the specific alarm indicated on the OLED display. For voltage alarms, check your power source. For high temperature, allow the iron to cool. For tip sensor alarms, re-seat or replace the tip. - Display orientation is incorrect:
Adjust the display direction through the iron's settings menu to suit your dominant hand.
