4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps.

4.1. Prepare for Installation

  1. Turn off Power: Before starting, ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker or fuse box to prevent electrical shock.
  2. Mounting Location: Select a location where the fan blades will not strike any objects. The ceiling must be able to support the fan's weight.

4.2. Install the Mounting Bracket

  1. Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box using the provided screws and washers. Ensure it is firmly attached.

4.3. Assemble the Fan Blades

4.4. Attach Downrod and Motor Assembly

  1. Thread the motor wires through the chosen downrod.
  2. Insert the downrod into the motor assembly and secure it with the clevis pin and setscrew. Tighten the setscrew firmly.
  3. Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it on the mounting bracket.

4.5. Electrical Wiring

  1. Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram in the manual. Typically, this involves connecting:
    • Green/Bare Copper (Ground) to Green/Bare Copper (Ground)
    • White (Neutral) to White (Neutral)
    • Black (Hot) to Black (Hot)
  2. Use the provided wire connectors and ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Tuck all wires neatly into the junction box.

4.6. Install the Light Kit

  1. Connect the light kit wires to the corresponding wires from the fan motor assembly.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Fanbulous ceiling fan is operated by the included remote control.

  • Fan ON/OFF: Press the "FAN/OFF" button to turn the fan on or off.

  • Airflow Direction (Forward/Reverse):
