Setup and Installation

1. Compatibility and Physical Installation

This car stereo is designed for universal 1 DIN car dashboards (standard dimensions: 180 x 50 mm). If your original dashboard is 2 DIN format, you will need to purchase an adapter/frame for installation.

2. Wiring Diagram

This car stereo is a universal version with a discreet harness and no integrated ISO connector. During installation, carefully follow the wiring diagram to ensure correct connections and prevent the device from failing to power on.

  • Power Connections:
    • Red Wire (+12V ACC): Connect to the vehicle's accessory power.
    • Yellow Wire (12V B+): Connect to the vehicle's constant 12V power.

3. Rearview Camera Connection

To enable the rearview function, connect the camera as follows:

  1. Connect the camera's video output cable to the 'REVERSE' video input on the car stereo.
  2. Connect the camera's red power cable to the positive wire of the vehicle's reverse light.
  3. Connect the camera's black ground cable to the negative wire of the vehicle's reverse light.
  4. Connect the pink wire from the car stereo's power harness to the reverse light signal wire of the vehicle.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button (usually a physical knob or touch icon) to turn the unit on or off.
  • Volume Control: Use the rotary knob or touchscreen controls to adjust the volume.
  • Touchscreen: Navigate through menus and select functions by tapping the 6.86-inch HD touchscreen.

2. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

Connect your smartphone wirelessly to access navigation, music, calls, and other apps directly on the car stereo display.

  1. Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone.
  2. On the car stereo, select the CarPlay or Android Auto icon.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your phone. For wired connection, use your phone's original USB cable.

3. Bluetooth Connectivity

  • Note: An antenna is not included. Please use your vehicle's original antenna for stable FM reception. Station names may not be displayed.

5. USB Media Playback

  • Insert a USB 2.0 drive into the designated USB port.
  • The system will automatically detect the drive and display media files.
  • Note: The Type-C port is for fast charging only; it does not support data transfer.

6. Rearview Camera Function

When properly installed, the rearview camera display will automatically activate when the vehicle is put into reverse gear, assisting with parking and maneuvering.

7. Steering Wheel Controls

If your vehicle supports steering wheel controls (and is not Canbus-equipped), you can configure them to operate the car stereo.

  1. Connect the brown 'KEY-1' and 'KEY-2' wires to your vehicle's steering wheel control cables.
