Setup

1. Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. Connect the USB-C cable to the charging case and a power source. The LED digital display on the case will show the battery percentage, flashing during charging.

A 10-minute fast charge provides approximately 2 hours of playtime. A full charge for the case takes about 1.5 hours.

2. Pairing with Your Device

Ensure your device's Bluetooth is turned on.
Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "C16" from the list.
Once connected, the earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when the case is opened.

3. Wearing the Earbuds

The earbuds feature flexible, ergonomic ear hooks for a secure and comfortable fit, especially during physical activity. Choose the appropriate ear tip size (S, M, L) for optimal comfort and sound isolation.

Operation

Touch Controls

The Matast C16 earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud for easy management of music, calls, and voice assistant.

Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
Next Song: Double tap on the right earbud.
Previous Song: Double tap on the left earbud.
Volume Up: Triple tap on the right earbud.
Volume Down: Triple tap on the left earbud.
Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud.
Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds.
Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds (when not on a call).

Dual-Use Mode

The earbuds can be used in binaural mode for immersive stereo sound or in mono mode, allowing you to use a single earbud independently. This is useful for sharing audio or staying aware of your surroundings.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Regularly clean your earbuds and charging case to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or submerge the case in water.

The earbuds are IP7 waterproof, meaning they are resistant to sweat, rain, and accidental water exposure. However, it is recommended to dry them thoroughly before placing them back in the charging case.

Storage

When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Solution
Earbuds not pairing	Ensure earbuds are charged. Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device. Place earbuds back in the case, close, then open again to re-enter pairing mode. Forget "C16" from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pair.
No sound from one earbud	Ensure both earbuds are charged. Place both earbuds back in the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open again. Check device audio settings to ensure stereo output is selected.
Earbuds not charging	Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source. Check if the charging case has power (LED display). Clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and inside the case.
Poor sound quality	Ensure earbuds are properly seated in your ears. Try different ear tip sizes. Clean any debris from the earbud speakers. Move closer to your paired device to avoid interference.
