Setup
Powering On/Off
To power on the keyboard, locate the power button on the top right. Press and hold the power button until the indicator light illuminates. To power off or put into standby mode, press the power button again.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on and sufficiently charged.
- Press and hold the Fn key along with one of the Bluetooth device keys (Q, W, or E) for approximately 3-5 seconds. The corresponding indicator light above the key will begin to blink, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (iPad, tablet, smartphone, or laptop), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "Satechi OntheGo Keyboard" from the list of available devices.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The indicator light on the keyboard will become solid once successfully paired.
Operating Instructions
Multi-Device Connectivity
The Satechi OntheGo Keyboard allows you to connect and switch between up to 3 Bluetooth-enabled devices. Once paired, simply press Fn + Q, Fn + W, or Fn + E to switch between your connected devices.
Adjustable Stand
The integrated adjustable stand provides multiple viewing angles from 30° to 150°, supporting tablets and smartphones up to 13 inches in both portrait and landscape modes. Simply unfold the stand from the back of the keyboard and adjust it to your desired angle. The keyboard is freestanding and does not support magnetic attachment.
Charging
The keyboard is equipped with a 360mAh rechargeable battery and charges via USB-C. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours and provides up to 4 months of standby time. Connect the included USB-C to USB-C charging cable to the keyboard's USB-C port and a compatible power source.
