- You can follow the map to get closer to your item. Once within Bluetooth range, you can use the 'Play Sound' feature.

Lost Mode allows you to receive notifications if your item is left behind and enables others to contact you if they find your FindTag Duo.
- In the Find My or Google Find My Device app, select your FindTag Duo.
- Enable Lost Mode (or similar option).
- You will be prompted to enter contact information (e.g., phone number, email) and a message that will be displayed to anyone who finds your tag and scans it or interacts with it via their device.

Troubleshooting
- Device not pairing:
- Ensure the FindTag Duo is powered on and fully charged (or has a new battery).
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Bring the FindTag Duo closer to your smartphone.
- Restart both your smartphone and the FindTag Duo.
- Verify that you are attempting to pair with the correct app (Apple Find My for iOS, Google Find My Device for Android).
- Remember, the device cannot be paired with both iOS and Android simultaneously. If previously paired with one, you may need to unpair it before pairing with the other.
- Difficulty reconnecting after changing device name (Android):
- Some users have reported issues with reconnection after renaming the device. If this occurs, try unpairing the device from the Google Find My Device app and then re-pairing it from scratch.
- Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.
- No sound when 'Play Sound' is activated:
- Ensure the FindTag Duo is within Bluetooth range of your smartphone.
- Check the battery level of the FindTag Duo in the app. A very low battery might affect sound output.
- Verify that your smartphone's volume is not muted.
- Inaccurate or no location updates:
- Ensure the FindTag Duo is powered on.
- Location accuracy depends on the density of the Find My or Find Hub network. In areas with fewer participating devices, updates may be less frequent or precise.
- Check your smartphone's internet connection for map data.
