3. Panel Introduction
3.1 Top Panel Controls

4. Setup
4.1 Power Connection
- Connect the included 9V DC power adapter to the "DC IN" jack on the rear panel.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable power outlet.
4.2 Basic Audio Connections
- Connect your guitar to the "INPUT" jack using a 1/4" instrument cable.
- For connecting to a guitar amplifier: Use a 1/4" instrument cable from the "OUTPUT L/MONO" jack to your amplifier's input.
- For connecting to a PA system or audio interface: Use XLR cables from the "XLR OUT L" and "XLR OUT R" jacks to the respective inputs on your PA system or audio interface.
- For silent practice: Connect headphones to the "Phones" jack.
4.3 External Audio Source
To play along with backing tracks or music, connect your external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the "AUX IN" jack using a 1/8" stereo cable.
5. Operation
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press the power switch on the rear panel to turn the unit ON or OFF.
5.2 Preset Selection
The GE150 Max organizes presets into banks. Use the footswitches to navigate:
- Press footswitches A, B, C, or D to select individual presets within the current bank.
- Press footswitches A and B simultaneously to move down to the previous bank.
- Press footswitches B and C simultaneously to move up to the next bank.
5.3 Effect Module Control
The dedicated FX, DS, AMP, CAB, NS, EQ, MOD, DLY, and REV buttons allow quick access to individual effect modules:
- Press a module button to toggle its ON/OFF status.
- Press and hold a module button to enter its editing menu, where you can adjust parameters using the Select and Mode knobs.
5.4 CTRL Mode
In CTRL mode, you can assign specific functions or module ON/OFF states to the footswitches for more dynamic live control. Refer to the full manual for detailed setup instructions.
5.5 Expression Pedal
The integrated expression pedal can be assigned to control various parameters:
- Use the EXP button to cycle through assigned functions (e.g., volume, wah, pitch shift).
- Move the pedal to adjust the parameter in real-time.
5.6 Looper and Drum Machine
The GE150 Max includes a looper and drum machine for practice and creative use:
- Press footswitches B and C simultaneously and hold to access the Looper/Drum Machine interface.
- Use the on-screen controls and footswitches to record, play, stop, and select drum patterns.
5.7 Tuner
To activate the built-in tuner, press footswitches A and B simultaneously and hold. The display will show the tuning interface. You can mute your signal or allow it to pass through while tuning.
5.8 Saving Presets
After adjusting your tone, press the "SAVE" button to store your changes to a preset slot. Follow the on-screen prompts to name and confirm your save.
