2. Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when handling batteries. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury or damage to the battery and connected equipment.
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Do not disassemble, crush, or puncture the battery.
- Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 158°F (70°C) or below -4°F (20°C) for discharge, or below 32°F (0°C) for charging.
- Use only recommended LiFePO4 battery chargers.
- Do not mix this battery with lead-acid or GEL batteries.
- Ensure proper ventilation during charging and discharging.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and eye protection when handling batteries.
- Keep out of reach of children.

5. Setup and Installation
Before connecting the battery, ensure all loads are disconnected and the battery is placed in a secure, well-ventilated area.
- Inspect the Battery: Check for any physical damage.
- Prepare Connections: Ensure all cables and connectors are appropriately sized for the intended current and are clean and free of corrosion.
- Connect Cables: Connect the positive (+) terminal of the battery to the positive (+) terminal of your load/charger, and the negative (-) terminal of the battery to the negative (-) terminal of your load/charger. Ensure connections are tight using the provided M8 bolts.
- Series and Parallel Connections: This battery supports up to 4S4P (4 series, 4 parallel) connections. When connecting in series or parallel, ensure the voltage difference between each battery is controlled within 0.1V before connection.
- Secure the Battery: Use appropriate straps or mounts to secure the battery in its operating location to prevent movement or damage.

6. Operating Instructions
- Charging: Charge the battery using a compatible LiFePO4 charger within the recommended charging temperature range of 0°C to 65°C (32°F to 149°F). The recommended charging current is 0-15A, with a charging limit voltage of 14.6V.
- Discharging: The battery can be discharged within the temperature range of -20°C to 70°C (-4°F to 158°F). The continuous maximum discharge current is 50A. The BMS will automatically cut off discharge if the current exceeds 170±30A or if the voltage drops below the low voltage disconnect threshold.
- Low-Temperature Protection: The battery's BMS includes low-temperature protection. Charging will stop if the battery temperature falls below 0°C (32°F). Discharging will stop if the battery temperature falls below -20°C (-4°F).
- XT60 Port: The XT60 port has a current-carrying capacity of ≤30A. It can be used for connecting accessories or for charging via a cigarette lighter socket (adapter may be needed). Exceeding this limit may cause overcurrent risk.
7. Maintenance
- Regular Charging: If the battery is not in use for an extended period, charge and discharge it once every 6 months to prevent damage from disuse and maintain optimal performance.
- Storage: Store the battery in a cool, dry place within the storage temperature range of -10°C to 45°C (14°F to 113°F).
- Terminal Inspection: Periodically check battery terminals for cleanliness and tightness. Clean any corrosion and tighten loose connections.
8. Troubleshooting
- Battery Not Charging:
- Check if the charger is compatible with LiFePO4 batteries.
- Verify charging temperature is within 0°C to 65°C (32°F to 149°F).
- Ensure all connections are secure and free of corrosion.
- Check if the BMS has activated over-voltage or over-temperature protection.
- Battery Not Discharging/No Power Output:
- Verify discharge temperature is within -20°C to 70°C (-4°F to 158°F).
- Check for overcurrent or short-circuit protection activation by the BMS.
- Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged.
- Inspect all connections for tightness and proper polarity.
- Voltage/Current Deviation: Note that under various temperature/humidity measurement methods and instruments, voltage and current may deviate by 1%~5%. This is normal.
