Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your snow shovel, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Unit does not start:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted.
- Verify the safety switch is engaged before pressing the trigger.
- Check for any obstructions in the auger area that might prevent it from spinning.
- Reduced snow throwing distance/power:
- The battery may be low; recharge it fully.
- The unit performs best on fresh, fluffy snow. Wet or heavy snow may reduce throwing distance. Try taking smaller, slower passes.
- Clear any snow buildup in the discharge chute.
- Unusual noise or vibration:
- Immediately stop the unit and check for any foreign objects caught in the auger or housing.
- Inspect the auger for damage.
