Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your etoolab Cordless Snow Shovel:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure you have the main motor unit, aluminum handle poles, auxiliary handle, battery, charger, and all necessary screws and washers.
2. Connect Handle Poles: Insert the lower handle pole into the upper handle pole, ensuring the internal wiring connects properly. Secure with the provided screws and tightening knobs.
3. Attach Auxiliary Handle: Slide the auxiliary handle onto the main pole. Adjust its position for comfortable use and secure it with the long bolt and knob.
4. Connect Handle Assembly to Motor Unit: Align the handle assembly with the slot on the main motor unit. Push firmly until it clicks into place. Secure the connection using the two hex screws provided, tightening them with the Allen wrench.
5. Charge Battery: Insert the 20V 4.0Ah Li-ion battery into the charging base. Plug the charger into a power outlet. The indicator light will show red during charging and turn green when fully charged. A full charge typically takes 2.5 to 3 hours.
6. Insert Battery: Once charged, slide the battery into the battery slot on the trigger handle until it clicks securely.

Operating Instructions

Before operating, ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted. Wear appropriate safety gear, including eye protection and gloves.

1. Starting the Snow Shovel: To start the unit, first push the safety switch with your thumb, then squeeze the trigger. The auger will begin to rotate.
2. Clearing Snow: Push the snow shovel forward into the snow. The auger will collect and throw the snow. The unit is designed to clear up to 8 inches of fresh, fluffy snow. For deeper or wet snow, take smaller passes.
3. Adjusting Throw Direction: Use the ±30° adjustable turbo-angle knob on the main unit to change the direction of the snow discharge. Pull the knob up and rotate it left or right to adjust the flaps, then push it down to lock the position.
4. Optimal Use: This snow shovel is ideal for clearing steps, sidewalks, decks, patios, and driveways. It is particularly effective on fresh, light to moderate snow.
5. Stopping the Snow Shovel: Release the trigger to stop the auger. The safety switch will automatically reset.
