• The appliance surfaces become hot during use. Use oven mitts or gloves when handling hot parts. The cool-touch handle is designed to remain cool, but caution is still advised.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the non-stick plates.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

1. Carefully remove the grill and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Before first use, wipe the exterior of the grill unit with a damp cloth.
3. Remove the cooking plates and the grease drip tray. Wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Alternatively, the plates are dishwasher safe.
4. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.

3.2 Installing Cooking Plates

1. Ensure the grill is unplugged and cool.
2. Select the desired plates (grill or waffle).
3. Align the tabs on the back of the plate with the slots on the grill base.
4. Press down firmly until the plate clicks into place. Repeat for the top plate.
5. Insert the grease drip tray into its designated slot at the front of the grill.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On and Control Panel Overview

1. Plug the power cord into a 220V-240V AC outlet. The LED display will illuminate.
2. The control panel features touch buttons for various functions:
   • Power Button: Turns the appliance on/off.
   • Mode Selection: Cycle through preset programs (Steak, Fish, Sandwich, Waffle, etc.).
   • Temperature Adjustment (+/-): Increase or decrease cooking temperature (80°C-230°C).
   • Time Adjustment (+/-): Increase or decrease cooking time (0-60 min).
   • Start/Pause Button: Begins or pauses the cooking process.
   • Probe Indicator: Illuminates when the temperature probe is connected.

4.2 Using Preset Programs

1. With the grill powered on, press the Mode Selection button to cycle through the 8 available preset programs.
2. Each program has a default temperature and time.
3. Once a program is selected, you can adjust the temperature and time manually using the +/- buttons if desired.
4. Press the Start button to begin cooking. The grill will preheat to the set temperature.
5. An audible alert will sound when preheating is complete. Place your food on the plates and close the lid.
6. The timer will count down. An alert will sound when cooking is finished.

4.3 Manual Mode

1. To use Manual Mode, do not select a preset program.
2. Adjust the desired temperature using the Temperature +/- buttons.
3. Adjust the desired cooking time using the Time +/- buttons.
4. Press the Start button to begin cooking.

4.4 Adjustable Height and 180° Open Griddle Function

• Adjustable Height: Use the height adjustment lever on the side of the grill to set the desired distance between the top and bottom plates. There are 5 levels to accommodate different food thicknesses, from thin slices to thick sandwiches (up to 7 cm).
• 180° Open Griddle: To use the grill as an open griddle, fully open the top plate until it lies flat, creating a larger cooking surface. This is ideal for grilling multiple items simultaneously.

4.5 Using the Temperature Probe

1. Insert the temperature probe into the designated port on the side of the grill. The probe indicator on the display will light up.
2. Insert the metal tip of the probe into the thickest part of the food, avoiding bones.
3. The display will show the internal temperature of the food. You can set a target internal temperature.
4. The grill will automatically stop cooking or alert you when the target internal temperature is reached.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your FOHERE Multifunction Grill.

1. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Cleaning Plates: Remove the cooking plates by pressing the release buttons. Wash them in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge or place them in the dishwasher. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as this can damage the non-stick coating.
3. Cleaning Grease Drip Tray: Remove the drip tray and empty any collected grease. Wash it with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
4. Cleaning Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the grill unit with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or immerse the main unit in water.
5. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. The compact design allows for vertical storage to save space.
