2. Safety Information

• Eye Safety: Do not look directly into the LED light or shine it directly into anyone's eyes. The high lumen output can cause temporary vision impairment or permanent eye damage.
• Children: Keep out of reach of children. Adult supervision is required when children are near or using the flashlight.
• Heat: The flashlight head may become warm during prolonged use on high settings. Handle with care.
• Battery: Use only the provided Type-C charging cable. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the built-in battery.
• Water Resistance: The flashlight is IP65 waterproof, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets and heavy rain. It is not designed for prolonged submersion in water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely sealed before exposure to water.
• Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place when not in use.

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of the flashlight, usually covered by a rubber plug.
2. Gently lift the rubber plug to expose the charging port.
3. Connect one end of the provided Type-C charging cable to the flashlight's port.
4. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
5. The LCD digital display will show the charging progress. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.
6. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely seal the rubber plug to maintain water resistance.

5.2 Attaching the Lanyard

Thread the included lanyard through the small loop located at the tail cap of the flashlight. This helps prevent accidental drops and provides a secure carrying option.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

1. Power On: Press the power button once to turn on the flashlight. The LCD display will show the current battery percentage.
2. Change Modes: While the flashlight is on, press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the lighting modes: High → Medium → Strobe.
3. Power Off: To turn off the flashlight from any mode, press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds. The flashlight will turn off without cycling through all modes. Pressing the button again will automatically return to the High mode.

6.2 Zoom Function (Spotlight/Floodlight)

The Wdtpro SFL046 features a zoomable head to adjust the beam focus:

• Spotlight: Extend the flashlight head forward to narrow the beam for a concentrated, long-distance spotlight.
• Floodlight: Retract the flashlight head backward to widen the beam for a broad, area-illuminating floodlight.

6.3 Battery Indicator

The integrated LCD digital display provides a real-time percentage of the remaining battery life. This allows you to monitor power levels and plan recharging accordingly.

• Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the lens clean for optimal light output.
• Charging: For optimal battery life, charge the flashlight regularly and avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
• Storage: If storing for an extended period, charge the flashlight to approximately 50-70% and recharge every 3-6 months to prevent battery degradation.
• Water Resistance: Always ensure the USB-C charging port's rubber cover is fully sealed when not charging to maintain its IP65 water resistance.
