1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Temodu 4K 2.0-inch Screen Digital Microscope. This device is designed for exploring the microscopic world with ease and clarity. Featuring a 2-inch high-resolution screen and up to 1000X magnification, it is suitable for observing various specimens such as textiles, jewelry, stamps, skin, hair, coins, and plant trichomes. This manual provides detailed instructions for proper setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

3. Product Overview

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the microscope. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the device and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

4.2 Inserting a TF Memory Card (Optional)

The microscope has built-in memory for approximately 200 photos. To record videos or store more photos, a TF (MicroSD) memory card (not included) is required. Insert the TF card into the card slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.

4.3 Attaching the Neck Strap (Optional)

Attach the wide neck strap to the strap hole on the microscope to prevent accidental drops and for convenient carrying.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button to turn the microscope on or off.

5.2 Device Observation Mode

Hold the microscope over the object you wish to observe. The live view will appear on the 2-inch IPS screen.

5.3 Adjusting Focus and Magnification

Rotate the focus tube to achieve a clear image. The microscope offers a fixed ultra-macro focus with a maximum magnification of 1000X and 4x digital zoom. Adjust the distance between the microscope lens and the specimen to find the optimal focus point.

5.4 Adjusting LED Illumination

The microscope features 8 built-in LED lights. Press the Light Adjustment button to cycle through different brightness levels (e.g., 50%, 70%, 100%) to ensure proper illumination of your specimen, even in dark environments.

5.5 Capturing Photos and Videos

In observation mode, press the Photo Button to take a still picture. To record video, ensure a TF memory card is inserted. The built-in memory can store approximately 200 photos, but videos require a TF card.

5.6 Reviewing Media

Press the Playback Button to enter review mode. Use the Up/Down buttons to navigate through your captured photos and videos. Photos stored in the built-in memory can only be deleted, not downloaded directly from the device without a computer connection.

6. Connecting to a Computer

The microscope supports real-time imaging and data transfer when connected to a computer.

6.1 Computer Observation Mode

Connect the microscope to your computer using the provided Type-C data cable. Open the computer's built-in camera software (e.g., Camera app on Windows, Photo Booth on Mac). The microscope's display will appear on your computer screen, offering a larger and more intuitive viewing experience. In this mode, the physical buttons on the microscope are not active.

6.2 Transferring Files

When connected to a computer, you can access the contents of the inserted TF memory card to transfer photos and videos. Files stored in the microscope's internal memory cannot be directly downloaded; they must be viewed on the device or deleted.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Lens and Screen

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lens and screen. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with lens cleaning solution. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

7.2 Storage

Store the microscope in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it protected from dust and moisture when not in use.

7.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.

8. Troubleshooting
