4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your AODSK AED-400 Electric Drum Set. It is recommended to watch the full installation video for visual guidance.
4.1. Drum Stool Installation
- Unfold the drum stool bracket.
- Insert the connecting rod into the bracket and secure it with the provided screw.
- Place the drumstool surface onto the connecting rod and ensure it is stable.

4.2. Drum Stand Assembly
- Connect the risers to the legs of the drum stand.
- Attach the middle support rod between the two risers, ensuring all connections are secure.
- Attach the cymbal and drum arms to the main stand. Tighten all bolts using the drum key.
- Connect the three cymbal arms to their designated positions on the stand.

4.3. Installing Pads and Cymbals
- Install the snare drum pad onto its arm.
- Install the three tom drum pads onto their respective arms.

4.4. Connecting Cables

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Powering On/Off
Connect the power adapter to the DC 9V input on the drum module and plug it into a power outlet. Press the POWER ON/OFF button to turn the unit on or off.
5.2. Adjusting Volume
Rotate the VOLUME knob on the drum module to adjust the overall output volume. For silent practice, connect headphones to the PHONE/OUT PUT jack.

5.3. Selecting Drum Kits and Sounds
The AED-400 features 150 high-quality sounds and 15 preset drum kits. Use the + and - buttons to navigate through the different drum kits. The LED display will show the selected kit number.
5.4. Metronome and Demo Songs
- Press the CLICK button to activate the built-in metronome for timing practice.
- Press the DEMO button to play one of the 10 demo songs. Use the + and - buttons to select different demo tracks.
