Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Wipe the solar panel and device casing with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Battery Care:
- Ensure the solar panel receives adequate sunlight to maintain battery charge.
- If the device will be stored for an extended period, ensure it is fully charged before storage and periodically recharged to prevent deep discharge.
Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on:
- Ensure the device has sufficient charge. Connect it to a USB Type-C power source for initial charging if solar power is insufficient. Check the LED indicators for power status.
- No 4G signal or SIM card not recognized:
- Verify the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated with a data plan.
- Ensure the device is in an area with 4G network coverage.
- Check the SIM card slot for any obstructions.
- Try restarting the device.
- Cannot connect to WiFi:
- Confirm the WiFi SSID and password are correct.
- Ensure your device is within the router's WiFi coverage area (100-150m in open areas).
- Restart both the router and your connecting device.
- Slow internet speed:
- Check your 4G signal strength. Weak signal will result in slower speeds.
- Reduce the number of connected devices.
- Ensure the router's antennas are properly connected and oriented.
- How to restore factory settings:
- Locate the reset button (often a small pinhole). Use a paperclip or the provided screwdriver to press and hold the button for approximately 10 seconds until the device restarts. This will revert all settings to their factory defaults, including WiFi SSID and password.
