2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and appliances.
• Do not operate the humidifier if the cord or plug is damaged.

Control Panel & Display

• Power Button: Turns the humidifier on/off. Press and hold for 5 seconds to reset Wi-Fi.
• Sleep Mode Button: Activates/deactivates sleep mode.
• Timer Button: Sets operating time between 1-12 hours.
• Night Light Button: Cycles through night light settings (100%, 50%, 20%, Off). Press and hold for 3 seconds to select night light color (Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow, Purple, Cyan Blue, White).
• Mist Level/Auto Mode Button: Switches between Low/Mid/Top mist levels. Press once to activate Auto Mode. Press again in Auto Mode to customize target humidity (30%-80%).

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Preparation

1. Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.

5.2 Filling the Water Tank

The MERONTE MR6w features a convenient top-fill design:

1. Remove the top cover of the humidifier.
2. Pour clean, cool tap water or distilled water directly into the water tank. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
3. Replace the top cover securely.

5.3 Essential Oil Diffusion

To use the essential oil diffuser function:

1. Locate the aroma box at the bottom of the humidifier base.
2. Pull out the aroma box and add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad.
3. Insert the aroma box back into the humidifier.
4. Important: Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank, as this may damage the unit.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Manual Controls

1. Plug the humidifier into a power outlet.
2. Press the Power Button to turn the unit on/off.
3. Press the Mist Level Button repeatedly to cycle through Low, Mid, and Top mist output levels.
4. Press the Timer Button to set the desired operating time (1-12 hours).
5. Press the Sleep Mode Button to activate/deactivate sleep mode, which dims lights and operates quietly.
6. Press the Night Light Button to adjust brightness or change colors.

6.2 Smart App Control (HavaWorks App)

Control your humidifier remotely using the HavaWorks app:

1. Download the "HavaWorks" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
2. Sign up or log in to your account.
3. Add the device by selecting "Humidifier MR6w" and scanning the QR code on the humidifier.
4. Once connected, you can adjust mist levels, set timers, control the night light, and monitor humidity from your smartphone.

6.3 Voice Control (Alexa & Google Assistant)

Integrate your humidifier with voice assistants for hands-free operation:

1. In the HavaWorks app, navigate to the "Me" section in the lower right corner.
2. Select "Third-Party Services" and choose either "Alexa" or "Google Assistant".
3. Follow the in-app prompts to link your HavaWorks account with your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant account.
4. Once linked, you can use voice commands like "Alexa, turn on the humidifier" or "Hey Google, set humidifier to Auto Mode."

7. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and hygiene. Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.

7.1 Daily Maintenance

• Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
• Wipe down the water tank and base with a clean, damp cloth.
• Refill with fresh water before each use.

7.2 Weekly Cleaning

1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank cover.
2. Pour out any remaining water from the tank and base.
3. Remove the water filter and separate the filter sponge.
4. Remove the float from the base chamber.
5. Fill a bowl with enough white vinegar to cover the filter, sponge, and float. Soak them for 15-20 minutes to loosen mineral buildup.
6. Use the provided cleaning brush to gently scrub away any scale or residue from all parts, including the base chamber and water tank.
7. Rinse all cleaned parts thoroughly under cool running water until the vinegar smell is gone.
8. Dry all parts completely with a clean cloth before reassembling.
9. Reassemble the humidifier and refill with fresh water.
