Setup
Power Supply
The device offers two power options:
- Battery Power: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit. Insert 2 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
- USB Power: Connect the provided USB power cable to the DC 5V input port on the device. Plug the other end into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on a computer.

Operating Instructions
Cassette Playback
- Open the cassette compartment door.
- Insert a cassette tape with the exposed tape facing upwards. Close the compartment door firmly.
- Press the PLAY button to begin playback.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob to your desired listening level.
- Use the FF (Fast Forward) and REW (Rewind) buttons to navigate the tape.
- Press the STOP button to halt playback.
- Press the EJECT button to open the cassette compartment and remove the tape.

Cassette Recording
Ensure a blank or recordable cassette tape is inserted.
- Press the RECORD button (usually red) simultaneously with the PLAY button. The device will begin recording audio from the built-in microphone or the selected radio station.
- To record from the built-in microphone, ensure the radio function is off. Position the device appropriately to capture desired audio.
- To record from the radio, tune to your desired station before pressing RECORD and PLAY.
- Press the STOP button to end the recording.

AM/FM Radio Operation
- Slide the function switch to RADIO.
- Select either AM or FM using the band selector switch.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM reception. For AM reception, rotate the unit for best signal.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to find your desired radio station.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob.

Headphone Use
To listen privately, plug any standard 3.5mm stereo headphones (not included) into the HEADPHONE JACK on the side of the unit. The built-in speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Cassette Head Cleaning: Periodically clean the cassette head, pinch roller, and capstan with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to ensure optimal sound quality and prevent tape damage.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries to prevent leakage. Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
