4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to install and set up your CAMSTRO I71GT camera:

  1. Install Solar Panel Bracket: Attach the provided bracket to the solar panel using the screws from the mounting kit.
  2. Mount Camera: Securely mount the camera to your desired outdoor location using the mounting kit. Ensure the location provides a clear view and is within cellular signal range.
  3. Install Solar Panel: Mount the solar panel in a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. Connect the solar panel's cable to the camera.
  4. Power On Camera: Press the power button on the camera using the eject pin tool to turn on the device.
  5. Download CloudEdge App: Download the "CloudEdge" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your smartphone.
  6. Register Account: Open the CloudEdge app, click "Register Now," select your country, input your email, and create a nickname and password.
  7. Add Device: On the app's home screen, click "Add Device" or the "+" icon. Select "4G Camera (Battery)" from the list of device types.
  8. Scan QR Code: Allow the app to access your camera. Scan the QR code located on your CAMSTRO I71GT camera.
  9. Connect to Internet: The device will begin connecting to the internet. A blue light flashing on the camera indicates that the SIM card has been read successfully. Please be patient during this process.
  10. Live View: Once connected, the live feed from your camera will appear in the app, and you can begin configuring settings.

5. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the camera's functions through the CloudEdge app:

  • Live View: Access the live video feed from your camera anytime, anywhere through the CloudEdge app.
  • Pan & Tilt Control: Use the directional controls within the app to remotely adjust the camera's horizontal (355°) and vertical (90°) viewing angles.
  • Two-Way Audio: Utilize the intercom function in the app to speak through the camera's speaker and listen through its microphone, enabling real-time communication.
  • Recording & Playback: View continuous recordings or event-triggered clips stored on the installed 32GB SD card or through your cloud storage subscription.
  • Motion Detection & Alerts: Configure motion detection sensitivity and define specific detection zones within the app to minimize false alarms. Receive instant notifications and screenshots on your smartphone when motion is detected.
  • Night Vision Modes: The camera automatically switches between infrared night vision and full-color night vision based on ambient light conditions, ensuring clear visibility day and night.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your camera:

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens and the surface of the solar panel to ensure clear image quality and efficient solar charging. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away dust and debris.
  • Battery Management: Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum direct sunlight for efficient charging of the internal battery. Avoid shaded areas.
  • SIM Card Management: Monitor your 4G data usage through the CloudEdge app and renew your data plan as needed to maintain continuous connectivity.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Camera Not Powering On:
    • Ensure the internal 12,000mAh battery is charged. Connect the camera to the solar panel or use the charging cable for a few hours.

  • SD Card Not Recording:
