Initial Setup

Charging

Before first use, fully charge the hearing aids and the charging case. Place the hearing aids into the charging case. The case will indicate charging status. A full charge for the hearing aids takes approximately 1 hour, providing up to 7 hours of use. The charging case itself fully recharges in about 2 hours.

Ear Tip Selection

Select the appropriate ear dome size for a comfortable and secure fit. Different sizes are included in the package. A proper fit is crucial for optimal sound quality and to prevent feedback.

Power On/Off

The hearing aids power on automatically when removed from the charging case. To power off, place them back into the charging case.

App Control

Download the Viva Hear application to your smartphone. Connect the hearing aids via Bluetooth to the app for personalized settings, volume adjustment, and sound mode selection.

Operating Instructions

Wearing the Hearing Aids

Gently insert the hearing aids into your ears. Ensure a snug and comfortable fit. The discreet design allows them to blend naturally.

Volume Adjustment

Adjust the volume using the dedicated controls on the hearing aids or through the Viva Hear app. There are 7 levels of volume adjustment available.

Sound Modes

Utilize the three smart sound modes (indoor, outdoor, music hall) or a custom setting via the app to optimize your listening experience for different environments.

Bluetooth Functionality

When connected to your phone via Bluetooth, the devices function as both hearing aids and Bluetooth headsets. They automatically switch between hearing aid mode and headset mode for music, TV, or calls.

Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the hearing aids and ear domes with the provided cleaning brush to remove earwax and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for the charging case.

• Feedback/Whistling: Adjust the ear domes for a tighter seal. Lower the volume. Ensure the hearing aids are correctly positioned in the ear canal.
• Low Volume: Increase the volume using the controls or the app. Check for blockages in the ear domes and clean if necessary.
• Difficulty Connecting to App/Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Restart the hearing aids and your phone. Re-pair the devices if necessary.
