3. Setup

3.1 Pre-Installation Checks

Before installation, ensure the following:

  • Check Carry-in Route: Verify that the product can be safely transported through your home's entryways, hallways, and stairs. Allow an additional 10cm clearance beyond the product's dimensions for width, depth, and height.
  • Installation Space: Ensure sufficient space around the washing machine for proper ventilation and operation.
  • Drainage Location: Confirm the position of the drain outlet.
  • Waterproof Pan: Check if a waterproof pan is present and its internal dimensions. The washing machine requires a depth of at least 54cm from the front leg to the rear leg if placed inside a waterproof pan.

3.2 Drain Hose Connection

The drain hose can be connected from either the left or right side of the washing machine. Ensure the hose is not bent or obstructed.

  • If the drain outlet is directly below the washing machine, a special drain pipe (bottom drain pipe) may be required.
  • The drain hose should not be extended more than 3 meters and must be placed on a flat surface.
  • Ensure the drain hose end is not submerged in water.
  • If extending the drain hose, keep the height difference to less than 10cm to prevent drainage issues.
