Operating Instructions
Your LETPOT system features an intelligent control panel for easy operation.
- Power On/Off: Press the power button on the control panel to turn the system on or off.
- Select Grow Mode: Choose between two specialized grow modes:
- Veggie Mode (Blue/Red/White): Ideal for leafy greens and herbs.
- Fruit & Flower Mode (Red/White): Optimized for fruiting plants like tomatoes and strawberries.
- Adjust Light Height: As your plants grow, adjust the height of the LED grow light arm to maintain an optimal distance from the plant canopy. The light arm is adjustable up to 16 inches.
- Automated Timer: The system features an 8/24 hour auto-timer for the grow light, ensuring plants receive consistent light cycles.
- Quiet Pump: The built-in pump automatically circulates water for optimal root oxygenation. It operates at a whisper-quiet level (below 20dB).

Maintenance
- Water Level: Monitor the water level indicator on the side of the base unit. Refill the 5.5L water tank approximately once a month, or as needed, to ensure roots are submerged and the pump operates correctly.
- Nutrient Replenishment: Add nutrient solutions according to the plant's growth stage and water replenishment schedule. Refer to the plant food instructions for specific ratios and frequency.
- System Cleaning: Periodically clean the water tank and pump to prevent algae buildup and ensure optimal water circulation. Disconnect power before cleaning.
- Humidity Domes: Remove humidity domes once seeds have sprouted and seedlings have developed their first true leaves.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Seeds not sprouting | Insufficient humidity, old seeds, incorrect temperature. | Ensure humidity domes are in place. Use fresh, viable seeds. Maintain room temperature between 68-78°F (20-25°C). |
| Slow plant growth | Incorrect light height, insufficient nutrients, water quality issues. | Adjust light closer to plants (but not touching). Verify nutrient solution concentration. Use filtered water if tap water is very hard. |
| Algae growth in water tank/pods | Excess light exposure to water, high nutrient levels. | Ensure light-blocking stickers are properly placed on unused pods. Clean the tank and reduce nutrient concentration slightly if severe. |
| Pump not working | Low water level, clogged pump. | Check water level and refill. Disconnect power, remove pump, and clean any debris from the impeller. |
