Setup

1. Inserting the SD Card

The camera comes with a 32GB Micro SD card pre-installed. The camera supports Micro SD cards up to 128GB. Ensure the card is properly seated in the designated slot before use.

2. Charging the Camera

The PH960S features a built-in 6000mAh Lithium battery that is continuously charged by the fixed solar panel. For initial setup or if the battery is depleted, you can also charge the camera using the provided USB Type-C charging cable connected to a standard USB power source.

3. Mounting the Camera

4. App Installation and Connection

Download the free "TrailCam Go" mobile app from your device's app store (iOS/Android). The camera connects to your phone via its built-in low-power WiFi and Bluetooth. Note that the camera does not support connection to home Wi-Fi networks. The connection range between your phone and the camera is approximately 45 feet.

Operating the Camera

1. Powering On/Off

Locate the power switch on the camera. Slide the switch to the "ON" position to power on the device. To power off, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.

2. Capture Modes

The PH960S offers three primary capture modes, configurable via the "TrailCam Go" app:

  • Photo Mode: Captures still images.
  • Video Mode: Records video clips with sound.
  • Photo and Video Mode: Captures a still image followed by a video clip.
