5. Operating Instructions

The DERCASS Wall Bed is designed for ease of use with a dual piston metal folding mechanism.

5.1 Opening the Bed

1. Ensure the area in front of the wall bed is clear of obstructions.
2. Gently pull on the handles located on the front panel of the bed unit.
3. As the bed begins to lower, guide it smoothly towards the floor.
4. Once fully extended, ensure the support leg is securely flipped down and locked into its operational position.

5.2 Closing the Bed

1. Remove all bedding and pillows from the bed surface, except for the mattress (if 8-10 inches thick).
2. Lift the support leg and fold it back into its stored position.
3. Grasp the handles and gently lift the bed frame upwards, guiding it back into the cabinet.
4. Ensure the bed is fully retracted and latched securely into the closed position.
