Setup
1. Placement
Place the receiver on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for heat dissipation. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
2. Connecting Speakers
Connect your speakers to the appropriate speaker terminals on the rear panel of the AVR-X2800H. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for each speaker. The receiver supports 7.2-channel configurations or 5.2.2-channel setups for Dolby Atmos/DTS:X.

3. Connecting Video Sources (HDMI)
Connect your video sources (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console, streaming device) to the HDMI INPUT ports on the rear panel. Use the HDMI OUT (MONITOR) port to connect the receiver to your TV or projector.

1. Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the POWER button on the front panel or remote control.
- Input Selection: Use the SOURCE SELECT knob on the front panel or the input buttons on the remote (e.g., CBL/SAT, Blu-ray, Game) to switch between connected devices.
- Volume Control: Use the MASTER VOLUME knob on the front panel or the VOLUME +/- buttons on the remote.

2. Audio Modes and Surround Sound
The AVR-X2800H supports various audio formats, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and traditional surround sound modes. Use the SOUND MODE buttons on the remote to cycle through available modes (e.g., Movie, Music, Game, Pure Direct).
3. HEOS Multi-Room Audio
HEOS Built-in allows you to stream music wirelessly to other HEOS-enabled devices in your home. Download the HEOS app on your smartphone or tablet to control music playback, create groups, and access streaming services.
4. Bluetooth Streaming
To stream audio from a Bluetooth device:
- Select "Bluetooth" as the input source.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and select "Denon AVR-X2800H" from the list of available devices.
