4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the turntable and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Placement: Place the turntable on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or vibrations.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC input port on the turntable and then plug it into a wall outlet.
  4. Stylus Protection: Remove the stylus protector from the tonearm before use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Playing Vinyl Records

  1. Open the Lid: Gently open the lid of the turntable.
  2. Place a Record: Place a vinyl record on the turntable platter. If playing a 45 RPM single, use the included 45 RPM adapter.
  3. Select Speed: Adjust the speed selector switch (33, 45, or 78 RPM) to match the record you are playing.
  4. Activate Auto-Stop: The auto-stop function can be enabled or disabled. When enabled, the platter will stop spinning automatically when the record finishes.
  5. Position the Tonearm: Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever. Move the tonearm over the desired track of the record.
  6. Lower the Tonearm: Slowly lower the tonearm onto the record using the cueing lever. The music will begin to play through the built-in speakers.
  7. Adjust Volume: Use the volume knob to adjust the playback volume.

5.2. Bluetooth Connectivity

The PRIXTON VC400 can receive audio wirelessly via Bluetooth from your smartphone or other compatible devices.

  1. Enable Bluetooth: Turn on the turntable. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  2. Pair Device: On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "PRIXTON VC400".
  3. Play Music: Once paired, you can play music from your device, and it will stream through the turntable's built-in speakers.

5.3. USB/MicroSD and AUX Playback

You can play digital music files directly from a USB drive or MicroSD card, or connect external audio devices via the AUX input.

  • USB/MicroSD: Insert your USB drive or MicroSD card into the respective slot. The turntable will automatically detect and play compatible audio files.
  • AUX Input: Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, CD player) to the AUX input port using a 3.5mm audio cable. Select the AUX input mode on the turntable.

5.4. FM Radio

The turntable includes an FM radio tuner.

  • Select FM Mode: Switch the mode to FM radio.
  • Tune Stations: Use the tuning controls to find and select your desired FM radio stations.

5.5. Vinyl Digitization

The PRIXTON VC400 allows you to convert your vinyl records into WAV digital format via the USB port or MicroSD slot.

  1. Insert Storage: Insert a USB drive or MicroSD card into the corresponding slot.
  2. Start Playback: Begin playing your vinyl record as described in section 5.1.
  3. Initiate Recording: Follow the specific instructions in the detailed user manual (included in the package) for initiating and stopping the recording process. The audio will be saved as WAV files on your storage device.

5.6. External Audio Connections

The turntable offers RCA and 3.5mm Jack outputs for connecting to external amplifiers or headphones.
