1. Introduction

The Tenveo TEVO-PC500 is a professional live streaming video mixer switcher designed for multi-camera live production, broadcasting, and recording. 2. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Tenveo TEVO-PC500 video switcher mixer.

2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Connecting the Device

Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the device.

  1. Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC12V input port on the rear panel and then to a power outlet.
  2. Video Inputs:
    • Connect your HDMI sources (cameras, computers, etc.) to the 4 HDMI input ports. Note that two HDMI inputs support 4K60FPS, and the others support 1080P60FPS.
    • Connect your SDI sources to the 4 SDI input ports.
    • For USB video input (UVC camera), connect it to the USB input port.
  3. Video Outputs:
    • Connect your program monitor to the HDMI PGM output or SDI PGM output.
    • Use the HDMI AUX output for customized monitoring (input channel, PST, PGM, or Multi-view).
    • For UVC live streaming, connect a USB3.0 cable from the USB3.0 output to your computer.
  4. Audio Connections:
    • Connect microphones to the 2 MIC (3.5mm) input ports.
    • Connect headphones for audio monitoring to the PHONE output port.
  5. Network Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port for network control, IP streaming (SRT, RTMP, RTSP, NDI), and PTZ camera control.
  6. Recording Storage: Insert an SD card into the SD slot or connect a USB disk/HDD to the USB2.0 port for recording.

3. Operating Instructions

The TEVO-PC500 features a 5.5-inch FHD screen and an ergonomic control panel for intuitive operation.

3.1 Control Panel Overview

3.2 Video Switching

Use the source selection buttons and the T-bar to switch between video inputs. The device supports 30 professional transition effects including MIX, WIPE, and DIP. Adjust transition duration, edge blending, and DIP color as needed.

3.3 Live Streaming

The switcher supports simultaneous streaming to two platforms via UVC (USB3.0 Type-C) and IP streaming (SRT, RTMP, RTSP, NDI) over Ethernet. It is compatible with platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, OBS, and vMix. Control can also be managed via a web browser.

3.4 Recording

Record your program output (PGM) directly to an SD card, USB disk, or HDD. The device supports H.264 encoding at up to 1080p60fps. Recorded files can serve as instant auxiliary sources for replays during live production, minimizing post-editing.

3.5 PTZ Camera Control

Control up to 4 PTZ cameras connected to the same LAN. Use the joystick and dedicated buttons to adjust pan-tilt-zoom, focus speed, exposure, white balance, and gain. Save and recall up to 10 preset positions per camera and 5 cruise tracks. AI tracking can also be triggered on compatible cameras.

3.6 Audio Mixing

The built-in audio mixer supports 4 HDMI, 4 SDI, 1 USB, and 2 independent 3.5mm microphone inputs, along with a headphone output. Independently adjust volume, switch, mix, and delay settings for each audio channel. Choose between ON (MIX) mode and Audio Follow Video (AFV) mode. Use the headphone output for real-time audio monitoring.

3.7 Video Effects

3.8 Scene Management

The TEVO-PC500 supports 12 preset scenes and 5 customized scenes. It also allows for multi-window merging with different sources on each window, and includes a built-in media library for efficient workflow.
