4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Initial Connection

1. Connect Display: Connect your monitor(s) to the Mini PC using the HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB-C 4.0 ports. The device supports up to four displays simultaneously.
2. Connect Peripherals: Plug in your keyboard, mouse, and other USB devices into the available USB ports.
3. Connect Network: For a wired connection, connect an Ethernet cable to one of the 2.5Gbps RJ45 LAN ports. For wireless, ensure your WiFi network is available.
4. Connect Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC power input port on the Mini PC, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
5. Power On: Press the power button located on the front of the Mini PC to turn on the device.

4.2 VESA Mount Installation

The included VESA mount allows you to attach the Mini PC to the back of a compatible monitor or to a wall mount, saving desk space.

1. Secure the VESA mount bracket to the back of your monitor or desired surface using appropriate screws.
2. Slide the Mini PC onto the mounted bracket until it clicks securely into place.

5.1 Performance Modes

The FIREBAT A8 features a one-click performance mode switch, allowing you to adjust power consumption and performance based on your needs. The LED indicator on the device will change color to reflect the current mode.

• Green (Quiet Mode - 45W): Ideal for office tasks, web browsing, and light applications where low noise and power efficiency are prioritized.

5.2 Multi-Screen Display

The FIREBAT A8 supports simultaneous output to up to four screens, enhancing productivity and immersive experiences.

• HDMI 2.1 port supports up to 8K@60Hz resolution.
• USB-C 4.0 ports support up to 4K@144Hz resolution.
• DisplayPort 1.4 also supports high-resolution output.

6. Storage and Memory Expansion

• Memory: The device comes with 32GB DDR5 5600MHz RAM (2x16GB SO-DIMM). It supports dual-channel memory and can be expanded up to 64GB.
• Storage: It includes a 1TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD. There is an additional slot for another M.2 2280 SSD, allowing for further storage expansion.

9. Troubleshooting

9.1 No Power

• Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and a working power outlet.

9.2 No Display Output

• Confirm that the display cable (HDMI, DP, USB-C) is firmly connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor.
