3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper assembly and installation. It is recommended to have a second person assist during the mounting process due to the fan's size and weight.

3.1 Blade Assembly

  1. Attach each fan blade to a blade arm using the provided screws and washers. Ensure they are securely fastened.
  2. Mount the assembled blade arms to the motor housing, tightening all screws firmly.

3.2 Downrod Installation

  1. Select the appropriate downrod length (5-inch, 10-inch, or 15-inch) for your ceiling height.
  2. Thread the electrical wires from the motor through the chosen downrod.
  3. Insert the downrod into the motor's yoke, aligning the holes. Secure with the downrod pin and clip.
  4. Tighten the two screws on the yoke to firmly secure the downrod.
  5. Slide the canopy cover and coupling cover onto the downrod.

3.3 Mounting the Fan

  1. Mount the hanger bracket securely to the ceiling junction box using appropriate screws for your ceiling type (wood screws for wooden ceilings, expansion screws for concrete ceilings).
  2. Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang the downrod onto the hanger bracket, ensuring the tab on the downrod ball aligns with the slot in the bracket.
  3. Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring: Neutral (white) to white, Live (black) to black, and Ground (green or yellow/green) to green. Use wire nuts to secure connections.
  4. Place the remote receiver unit into the hanger bracket.
  5. Push the canopy cover upward and rotate it to align with the screws on the hanger bracket. Tighten the screws to secure the canopy.

3.4 Light Kit Installation

  1. Connect the light kit wires to the corresponding wires from the motor.
  2. Align the light kit with the screw holes on the motor housing and secure it with the provided screws.
  3. Install E26 base A19 bulbs (bulbs not included) into the light sockets.
