Welcome to your new XREXS Digital Wall Clock. This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Model 3039YK-B clock. Please read this document thoroughly to ensure proper use and to fully utilize all features of your device.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- For the remote control, open its battery compartment and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing polarity.
- Note: Remove any protective wrapping from the batteries before insertion.

4.2 Placement Options
The clock offers two placement methods:
- Desk Placement: Extend the fold-out stand located on the back of the clock to place it securely on any flat surface.
- Wall Mounting:
- Use the provided mounting template to mark the desired screw positions on the wall.
- Install two screws into the wall, leaving a small portion of the screw head exposed.
- Align the clock's keyhole slots with the installed screws and slide the clock downwards to secure it in place.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial Power-On
Once batteries are correctly installed, the clock will power on automatically and display default settings.
5.2 Setting Time and Date (Using Remote Control)
- Press the "SET" button on the remote control. The hour digit on the clock display will begin to flash.
- Use the "HR" button to adjust the hour.
- Press "SET" again. The minute digit will flash.
- Use the "MIN" button to adjust the minute.
- Continue pressing "SET" to cycle through the year, month, date, and day of the week settings. Adjust each value using the appropriate buttons (e.g., "HR" for year, "MIN" for month/date).
- Press "SET" one last time to confirm all settings and exit the setting mode.

5.3 12/24 Hour Format
Press the "+/12-24HR" button on the remote control to switch between the 12-hour and 24-hour display formats.
5.4 Temperature Unit (°C/°F)
Press the "°C/°F" button on the remote control to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display units.
5.5 Backlight Function
The clock features an automatic backlight that activates in low light conditions. It offers two brightness levels and remains illuminated for approximately 30 seconds after activation. To disable the backlight, locate the "Backlight" switch on the back of the clock and set it to "Off".

5.6 Daylight Saving Time (DST)
The clock is equipped with an automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST) adjustment feature. Ensure this feature is enabled if your region observes DST.
5.7 Alarm Clock
- Press "Alarm SET" on the remote. The alarm hour will flash.
- Use "HR" to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press "Alarm SET" again. The alarm minute will flash.
- Use "MIN" to set the desired alarm minute.
- Press "Alarm SET" to confirm the alarm setting.
- To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the "Alarm SET" button briefly outside of setting mode. An alarm icon will appear or disappear on the display to indicate its status.
- To snooze, press "SNOOZE" when the alarm sounds.
5.8 Timer/Stopwatch
- Press "Enter Exit Timer" on the remote to enter timer mode.
- Countdown Timer:
- Use the "HR", "MIN", and "SEC" buttons to set the desired countdown time.
- Press "Timer ST/SP" to start or pause the countdown.
- Press "Timer Reset" to clear the timer.
- Stopwatch:
- In timer mode, ensure the timer is reset to 00:00:00.
- Press "Timer ST/SP" to start the stopwatch.
- Press "Timer ST/SP" again to pause.
- Press "Timer Reset" to clear the stopwatch.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock and remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents, as these may damage the display or casing.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display or when the display dims significantly. Always replace all batteries at once with new ones of the same type to ensure optimal performance.
7. Troubleshooting
- Display is dim or blank:
- Check if batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace all batteries if necessary.
- Ensure the backlight switch on the back of the clock is not set to "Off" if you desire illumination.
- Remote control not working:
- Check remote batteries and replace if needed.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the clock.
- Verify the remote is pointed directly at the clock.
- Clock not keeping accurate time:
- Replace batteries with fresh ones.
- If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- Backlight not staying on:
- The backlight is radar-sensing and designed to illuminate for approximately 30 seconds. This is normal operation and not a malfunction.
