  • Upon receiving the water dispenser, keep the machine upright for 24 hours before its first use to allow refrigerants to settle.
  • This appliance is designed for connection to a water line only. It is not suitable for 5-gallon water bottles and cannot be filled manually.
  • This unit provides cold water and room temperature water only. It does not dispense hot water.
  • The ice maker function produces ice, but the unit does not keep ice frozen. Ice will melt if not used promptly.
  • This model does not include built-in filters. External filtration may be required depending on your water source.

Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the unit from its packaging.
  2. Place the unit on a stable, level countertop surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the compressor's lubricants and refrigerants to settle.

2. Water Line Connection

This appliance requires a direct connection to a potable water line. Refer to the diagram and video below for guidance.

  1. Locate a suitable cold water supply line.
  2. Turn off the main water supply to prevent leaks.
  3. Install the provided T-valve connector onto your cold water supply line. Use Teflon tape on threaded connections to ensure a watertight seal.
  4. Connect one end of the water line tubing to the T-valve connector.
  5. Connect the other end of the water line tubing to the "Inlet Line" port on the back of the SOOPYK unit. Ensure a secure connection.
  6. Slowly turn on the main water supply and check for any leaks. Tighten connections if necessary.

3. Power Connection

  1. Once the water line is securely connected and checked for leaks, plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. The power indicator light on the control panel will illuminate.

The SOOPYK unit features an intuitive touch screen control panel for easy operation.

1. Dispensing Cold Water

  1. Place a glass under the water/ice outlet.
  2. Press the "Cold Water" button (snowflake icon). The cold water indicator will blink.
  3. When the water reaches the desired cold temperature, the indicator will stay on.
  4. To dispense water, press the "Water Fill" button (water drop icon).
  5. To turn off the cooling function, press the "Cold Water" button again until the indicator light is off.

2. Making Ice

  1. Press the "Make Ice" button (ice cube icon). The ice making indicator will blink.
  2. The unit will begin producing bullet-shaped ice. Each cycle produces approximately 9 pieces of ice in about 7 minutes.
  3. When the ice bin is full, the ice making indicator will stay on, and the unit will automatically stop production.
  4. To turn off the ice making function, press the "Make Ice" button again until the indicator light is off.

3. Dispensing Ice

  1. Place a glass under the water/ice outlet.
  2. Press the "Ice Fill" button (ice cubes in glass icon) to dispense ice.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Drip Tray

The drip tray collects any spills or condensation. It should be cleaned regularly.

  1. Gently pull the drip tray forward to remove it from the unit.
  2. Empty any collected water and wash the tray with mild soap and warm water.
  3. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reinserting.

2. General Cleaning

  • Unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • For internal cleaning, consult the manufacturer's recommendations or contact customer support.

Troubleshooting
